Done making various designs for the month, I was confident that they were ready. The royal wedding was a big deal and the types of fabrics we presented were going to be accessed. I didn't want to give half of my effort. I have never given half my effort. Collecting everything together, we arranged them in neat packages and wrote down the names of each of them and some small details.

"Are you going to present them on your own?" Liam asks as I write down the last details.

It's a must I take them alone. That is the only way to show how committed you are.

"Speaking of that, are you ready to take Zuriel to the party on Saturday?" I ask him.

"Very ready, anything for Zuri, he told me that early so I had to clear my schedule to make sure he has ample time.

"Thank you, Liam, it means a lot," I said and he nodded.

I am always grateful to have him in my life.

I met Liam when I was working as a virtual assistant. We used to share work because he wasn't good at socializing with people. I could share some of my clients with him. He is committed to his work so I had to teach him how to connect with people.

When I finally had my job, he was the first person I picked as my secretary because he was dedicated to his work. He has learned how to speak with people all around and even got me some good customers for my job. I am always grateful to have him around.

"That will be it, I will go serialize them before you send them over on the weekend," Liam said and walked out.

The moment he walked out, Zach was at the door. His huge body is always terrifying but am used to it.

"Is this a good time? He asks as he waves an envelope in the air.

Zach is a former navy, a decorated one. After serving in various countries he was ready to retire but when we met, he took me through a lot of training. He taught me what perseverance looks like, how to be calm and wait for the right moment to get your revenge. Generally, he is a good teacher and bodyguard. To add to that, he is my gym trainer.

I signal for him to come in. He bows his head and closes the door before sitting down.

I am always embarrassed when he bows for me. I told him he shouldn't but he said that was a simple way to show other guards that I was the boss. Other guards are very respectful they follow his example.

He sat down, his huge body pressing down the chair. After meeting with Mrs. White some three weeks ago, I have been terrified about everything. I have been confused about my father. I have started doubting my father. Was he a good father or he was just a wolf in sheep's clothing?

"I told you to stop worrying too much, how was your day?" Zach startles me with his question and I give him a quick but short answer earning a concerned look.

"No, Vee, are you worried that maybe your dad was not the man you thought he was?" He asks as he opens the envelope.

I nod but my focus is not on that idea but rather the pictures that Zach was arranging on the table.

Did I tell you that Zachary is the best detective aka investigator? He knows how to source information about various things. He told me to be patient and focused on my work as he focuses on the people whom I think will hurt me or my son.
