"Ladies and gentlemen, today we are gathered here to for an important occasion, we are going to give each of you an opportunity to showcase their designs. Kindly, make sure that your work is legit."

Standing Infront of the podium together with other designers, I was delighted to be among the chosen ones. I know it's not something easy but at least, someone is noticing my hardwork.

I thought the celebrated house designs would he selected but they were not doing that, they picked the normal and emerging designs.

As the lady in the speaker wished us all the best, I breathed in. I wanted to be calm but my mind was moving in all directions. I wanted to win this, not to show anyone that I can make it but to show myself that we are here for the right purpose.

I climbed down from the podium and walked to our various stations. The idea was, everyone will show case their unique designs and no one was going to see it, the judges will be the ones to chose which designer they wanted. I was confident in my designs, I had worked so hard for them and I wasn't going to give up.

Taking my last step, a figure stood Infront of me, the perks of being short is that, you always have to look up to see who is In front of you.

"Excuse, would you mind giving me way?" I asked not bothering to lift my head up.

The figure cleared their throat and I was forced to look up.

The masculine body, the brown eyes and the sexy looking glass on their eyes, send shivers down my body. Not only did I know her I knew this was going to be almost battle.

"So, you have decided to display your stupid ass back here?" She asked, her voice full of hatred.

I looked away. I know I messed up but I wish someone had once sat me down to ask about my opinion. I wanted to assume her and move along but when I made a step forward, she moved to.

"You know what, if I were you, I would curl that little tail that is growing between your leg and hide your stupid sick face. No one will pick you here, Vee, no one. The chances that I am winning this are already seen. So, if you think your disability is your ticket to winning this, then, sorry but no, we don't offer disability cheques here, here they look at your work!" She shouted.

I started breathing heavily. Her words were painful and her action were so uncalled for. This is not the Sofie that I knew.

Sofie, Alexander's sister, the lady I knew was a gentle person. I don't blame her, she accused me of harming Kendra when she was pregnant and that ended up to her getting a miscarriage and then there was a case about trying to kill her mother. Which type of person would look at you in the same way again?

I clenched my first but everytime I did that, it increased my heart beats making it hard for to breathe. I didn't want her to see my defeated face, the panic attack or the way I was about to shed a tear.

"Sorry," I mumbled and started moving.

Surprisingly, she stood away and let me walk. I quickly walked to the adjacent bathrooms and locked myself in. Tears came flowing down, my heart aches. Trust me, Revenge is not a simple thing.

Wiping my tears, I stepped out of the washroom and went to wash my hands. A lady joined me, I mumbled short greetings before heading out but the voice stopped me in the middle of my tracks.
