Saturday,
I got another free weekend after labouring the whole month trying to make all the ends meet. I had to make sure that everything was in place. So far, I was done with the order of the royal wedding. It was a very fun project to work on. As much as we had the interview and ideas, this time round, I had the first hand information from the real people whom I was going to make designs for. I enjoyed interviewing them and getting their views. I actually loved the way the two were in love despite the princess being a commoner. Well, she is not a princess until she gets married.
Laying down the checked shawl in my hand, Zuriel held the other end and made sure that it was layed out well. We placed our picnic basket in the middle. Zuriel had suggested we have a picnic because I had spent alot of weekends away from him. Well, he got to also participate in the project. Literally, we were all busy.
Meantime, he was busy lamenting how school has been hard this week and I wasn't going to tell him anything negative apart from advising him on how to tackle it.
"Do you think it's necessary for me to do crocheting?" He asked picking the sandwich from the basket and placing it adjacent to the juice bottle before grabbing a bottle of water and taking a dip from it.
Sometimes, he gives me very hard questions to answer. Crocheting and designs are slightly the same but at the same time, crotcheting require attention and passion.
"Is this something that was introduced?" I needed clarity. I cannot give him a suggestions if I don't know anything about it.
He opened the sandwich basket and handed me a slice of sandwich. Munching on his, he started humming, the moment he swallowed he looked at me with his big blue eyes, "Mmh, I might have tried it because of Tiffany," He felt guilty for doing it. I didn't want him to hurt his friend's feelings.
"Zuri, come on," I brushed his bangs just to see them fall on his face. His sad face lit up as he smiled and gave me out a slight tongue.
"Okay, you can't do that. You can chose something you love. If you feel knitting is a bit difficult, tell her. You two can still be doing the same thing"
He gave me the quizicall look.
"How?" He took a sip of the juice and plucked a berry from the it's pack.
"You live sewing, Tiffany loves knitting. Both of you can make different designs but still do the same thing," i believed that suggestion was veryuch great and relevant to the information he gave me.
When he nodded happily, I knew he would make good suggestions. I always believe him to make the best decisions. I have taught him that no question is stupid to ask and every opinion can be explored.
"So," he looked at me and I could point out the sly smile that he was giving me. " Are we attending the royal wedding?"
Damn, he remembered that. I actually was supposed to be the princess designer in her wedding day. I was supposed to make sure that the beautiful design we worked on is nicely presented. Looking at Zuriel, I knew he was going to demand to be there.
"No," I replied cheekily while taking a sip of water.
He frowned and looked at me with the sad eyes once again. I wasn't sure he would live the wedding. It is going to be a big one and h might get bored.
