Y/n has telekinetic powers and ends up hurting themselves
They were in Tønsberg, the New Asgard as Y/n and Loki had accompanied Thor in his daily visit. The plan was to spend the day here, chill out and to simply rest and enjoy.
They were having breakfast when Thor said, "Let's go fishing people". Loki rolled his eyes at him and replied, "We did that last week, why again?"."It's fun and as I've read on the news, there are new fish breeds coming this way", Thor smiled as he chewed on his food. Loki unwillingly agreed, he anyway had little else to do. He gazed at Y/n who was staring into her plate and spiralling her fork in her food. "Hey Y/n, let's go", Thor patted her shoulder to which she made a duck face.
Loki gave her a look. She shook her head no to him and he understood. "Um, you guys can go. I'll stay here and chill out, maybe go sight seeing", Y/n exhaled and sipped on her juice. "Why! Come on, join us it will be more fun!", Thor boomed. He was always too full of light for both Loki and her.
"I think she's bored", Loki defended her. "If we find any new fishes, I will personally cook them for you", Thor smiled at Y/n and Loki nodded in agreement. "Don't do anything stupid till I come back Y/n", Loki whispered to her and followed his brother outside leaving her smiling.
She slowly finished her breakfast and went outside. Y/n saw the two brothers on a boat, both of their hair flying alongwith the wind of the ocean. She could see Thor waving back at her so she did the same while Loki shook his head. He already looked like he was done.
She smiled and walked outside towards town, noticing it was filled with fishes, she thought why was there a need for more? Asgardians are weird and Thor the weirdest of all. Y/n then spotted a mountain and wondered what Tønsberg would look like from there, so that's where she went.
After a while of climbing, Y/n reached there and she wasn't wrong, the sight was indeed beautiful. The whole of Tønsberg could be seen. Her eyes then landed on the boat where Thor and Loki were. They looked really small from afar as compared to how they normally looked like.
Y/n sat on a rock near the cliff. It was quite peaceful up here, the rustling leaves of the trees nearby made her smile. She then remembered the wind game she used to play. Where you ask a random question and if the wind blows it means yes and if it doesn't, it means no.
"Do you think New Asgard is beautiful?", she asked and the a wave of wind brushed her face, yes. She thought for another question and asked, "Are Thor and Loki going to find new fish breeds?", it became silent, no. She laughed at this, of course they won't. Thor made it up to make Loki go fishing with him.
"Is the world going to be ok?", she asked and the wind blew again making her smile. "Am I going to be alright?", the breeze stopped. Y/n raised her eyebrows and asked again, "Am I a good person?", again the wind didn't blow. Y/n frowned at this.
It was a stupid game anyway but Y/n always felt a connection with nature as that's where she got her powers from. She was still learning to get them under control and remembered that she has accidentally hurt people because of it.
She thought about it for a moment and asked one last time, "Am I a danger to the world?". She got her answer with a strong breeze blowing all over her body, yes. She felt disbelief but tried to shrug it off as it was just a game and that it wasn't real, but she couldn't shake the feeling off.
She stood up and started walking back to the town but she stopped. She felt a sudden disturbance in her gut, telling her something was wrong. And when she turned, her eyes grew in size as she saw huge rocks floating in the air.
She blinked several times to make sure it wasn't an illusion but how would it be. She started panicking but still raised her hands, trying to get them down. It was her who was controlling them but absentmindedly. Y/n never thought a mere game would affect her so much.
But for her it wasn't just a game, it was a tradition where she came from and till now she never took it seriously. Her father always talked with nature and so it became her habit too. "I'm sorry ok, I'm trying to control it...just give me some time", Y/n shouted to the winds which were blowing too fast for her liking.
Maybe the fast winds were also her fault. She tried to focus more and moved her hands trying to command the rocks down, but they didn't budge. Instead they started revolving and as if that wasn't enough, the weather changed. It started lightning.
Meanwhile, Loki kept his grip tight on the boat as it started shaking violently because of the strong winds. He instantly turned towards the town and his eyes landed on the floating rocks. Thor and Loki exchanged a look knowing exactly what must be happening and immediately started paddling the boat back to the shore.
It grew darker by the second and nothing was helping Y/n calm down so she closed her eyes and focused. It didn't help much but she had to try. She thought about the peaceful side of nature, the one where skies aren't grey and the wind is slow. Her nose began to bleed as she got lost in her thoughts.
She kept on focusing on the mountain in her mind and got so lost that she didn't notice that she was now standing under the floating rocks. She succeeded not in getting control over them, but off them. The moment she opened her eyes, the rocks fell.
The rocks fell all around her and not on her but as she was on the edge of the cliff, it broke down and Y/n fell with it. The moment the two brothers reached shore, they saw the cliff breaking down and they both ran to the scene. Loki knew it was Y/n.
He also knew how she was struggling to control her powers and how nature seemed to affect her. Only one thing was on his mind, a hope that it wasn't Y/n and just some landslide but he wasn't sure. "Y/n!?", Loki called out as he rushed to where the cliff fell and Thor followed.
They called for her several times but got no response. Thor began to lift off the rocks to look for Y/n. With his Asgardian strength it was easier to lift, Loki started doing the same. They could have been wrong but the faintest of voice was heard from below the rocks. It sounded like 'help'.
This made them move faster as they picked up the heavy rocks like nothing and moved them out of the way. "Help!", the voice grew louder but vulnerable. It was surely Y/n. It came from under the rock to their left, they immediately went over and ripped it away.
The winds were still strong and there was water splashing everywhere because of the rising tide. They saw Y/n trapped under a rock as she struggled to be free. "Y/n!", Thor called out and carefully tried to move the rock. "It's ok, we're here", Loki comforted as he stroked her head.
But then a horrid expression replaced Y/n's features as she peered behind him. The remaining cliff had started cracking and was about to fall on all of them. Loki did the same and instantly began pulling her. She screamed at first but as Thor pulled the rocks off her, she became calm.
Loki lifted her up and Y/n let out a cry. He examined her, noticing that her leg was hurting and figured it was broken. Thor joined in as they held her from each side. They were almost out of danger but their eyes shot up as they heard a cracking sound and saw the rock coming towards them.
"NO!", Y/n shouted and the rock stopped midway. Thor and Loki took it as a sign and hurried out of the way. As soon as they reached further ahead, the rock fell. They carefully made Y/n sit. "Hey, it's alright, it's ok, you are safe", Loki took her hand and comforted as he sat with her while Thor went to get help.
"Are you?", Y/n asked back. "What?", Loki frowned and Y/n backed away from him. "Are you safe from me?", Y/n said it more clearly. Loki was taken aback by this. "Of course Y/n, what made you say that?", Loki shook her shoulders trying to bring her back to reality.
"Look what I did! What if someone got hurt?", Y/n pointed at the fallen rocks ignoring the pain in her leg. "Y/n! It's not your fault! Trust me, it's not you!", Loki pleaded back and embraced her right away. She hesitated but hugged back. He stroked her head as she cried.
"Y/n, I'm always safe around you and you around me. It's not your fault.", Loki reassured. After a while, Thor returned with his truck and they took her back in town to heal her leg. It was in a bad shape but the healer said she'd be alright.
"I'll be right here", Loki stated as he sat in a chair next to the bed Y/n was in. She couldn't keep her thoughts out and couldn't sleep because her leg was in a plaster. So Loki cast a sleeping spell on her so that she could rest.
