Loki x Teen reader- Suicide?

Y/n tries to kill herself and Loki and Bruce try to stop her

It started with a thought. The thought turned into thoughts leading to infinite more. She didn't like her body, her face, or her hair. She felt like she wasn't talented, or fit, or even capable or deserving of anything. She thought she didn't deserve anything. So what was the point?

Her family didn't actually care and she didn't have many friends. Yes, Loki, Bucky, Steve, Natasha, Wanda, Bruce, Tony were there, but that didn't stop her from taking this extreme step. She hated herself and saw no use of staying. No use of living because what was she living for. She fucked up and it was over.

Y/n had cut herself. And as if that wasn't enough, she finally wanted to kill herself. Be free of the pain and the burden she was to others. That's what she thought. She didn't know how much the team loved her, especially Loki. Somehow she always felt unworthy of love and Loki had all to give.

She cut herself deep enough to pass out in the washroom. Y/n woke up thinking why wasn't she dead yet and felt bad that she can't even do that properly. She looked at her bloody arms and saw that this won't kill her. That's when she decided to take the big leap.

Y/n wrote a small note saying goodbye to the team and wrote that it was over. She left the note on the kitchen counter as someone might just see it. Her hopes were down. Silently, she left the compound and walked outside still with her untreated bloody hands. She kept walking until she reached the right place.

It was late and Loki had woken up from his power nap. He decided to have a cup of tea. When he entered the kitchen, he saw Bruce working on the couch. "Tea?", Loki asked making Bruce turn to him. "Uhh yeah, thanks", Bruce replied and continued typing. Loki then opened a cabinet and pulled out a kettle which he placed on the counter.

His eyes then landed on a folded piece of paper which had red stains on it. Loki frowned and snatched it open, alarmed as he read what was written. It was Y/n's suicide note. His eyes widened at the words as he spoke, "Bruce...", and then he stopped.

"What? Loki?", Bruce asked in concern after viewing the expression on Loki's face. He hurried to Bruce and gave him the note. Bruce was shocked at it and immediately stood up. Loki was heaving at the thought of what Y/n might do. "We need to find her now!!", Bruce shouted as they both took off.

They reached outside the compound and looked around for her. "Y/n!?", Loki and Bruce called out to her. "She's left the compound", Bruce says showing Loki his mobile phone. Watching where she exited from, they ran in that direction. Suddenly, Loki stopped as he spotted drops of blood on the pavement.

His heart skipped a beat as he figured what she might have done. "Bruce, we need to hurry! We can't lose her. I can't...", Loki yelled at him. Bruce checked his phone again to see if she was caught under an CCTV but nothing was found. He sighed in panic and asked, "Loki, you know her well. Where do you think she would go when she was feeling this way?".

Loki thought about it and answered, "I...I didn't even know she felt this way...I think... I know a place". With that he sprinted outside and Bruce followed. They kept running through the streets, taking turns and bumping into people until they reached a very quiet area.

Loki panicked the whole way there, his heart beating out of chest. What was it that made her take such a step? If he loses her, he will lose everything. He stopped as he noticed more splatters of blood on the street following a figure standing far away. It was Y/n.

She was standing on the train tracks, ready. His eyes fell on her hands which were still bleeding as it wasn't enough to break his heart. He remembered why this place was her favourite. It's because it had a lot of trees around and that Y/n loved the winds that the train washed on her face. But right now, it was so different.

Bruce smartly sent a message at the compound to send help when he saw Y/n's crimson hands. Loki tried to calm himself down and tried to walk near her. She noticed and spun her head at Loki. "Go away, let me have this", Y/n sniffled as she fixated her position.

"Y/n, let's talk... please, get down Y/n", Loki whispered in the most gentle voice ever but Y/n didn't move. "I told you to go away!", Y/n stated unfazed. "Y/n... don't do this. You are so important Y/n. Please...I can help you. I promise I will help you", Loki pressed on. His hands stretched out calling her in for an embrace but she only gazed.

A tear fell down her cheek as she looked at him. "Loki... I'm tired...I can't do this anymore... I can't...", Y/n cried and that made Loki fall apart. His eyes turned glassy to red as he saw how broken she was. Bruce gulped his tears down as he tried to be strong for Y/n. "Y/n...you don't need to do this. This is Not the answer", Bruce explained.

Then a loud noise was heard...the train was enroute. Loki looked at the faraway lights of the train and panicked even more. "Y/n! The train is coming please just...get away Y/n!", Loki shouted at her. It looked like nothing was going to work. For a moment, it did feel like she was going to get hit. Then Bruce got an idea.

He saw Y/n's eyes were focused forward and not towards the two, slowly walking to Loki he whispered from the back, "I'll stop the train, you get her", and then he backed away. Loki understood what he meant and nodded. He took a deep breath and braced himself. He didn't mind getting hit by a train, he was ready to go to this measure if it meant saving Y/n.

Y/n blinked away her tears. The lights neared her along with the noise as she took a deep breath and closed her eyes in defeat. 'Its over Y/n' she thought...

When she heard the sudden honk of the train, her eyes shot open as she saw the lights slip away from her view. Loki had jumped to her to get her away from the tracks. He crash landed with Y/n in her arms, onto the stones nearby.

He gripped her tight until the train was stopped, and also to make sure that she doesn't go at it again. Y/n had shut her eyes in fear. She didn't want to die but she also didn't have the strength to live. Hulk had jumped in front of the train before it got to Y/n and Loki had snatched her away.

Loki slowly opened his arms and checked on Y/n who kept her eyes low. "Y/n? You were going to leave me all alone?", Loki cried as he squeezed her shoulders. "Y/n look at me", he cupped her cheeks and made her look.

He could have sworn that he has never seen such broken eyes. She was numb but a tear still trailed down her cheek. Her eyes became unfocused as she began to sway making Loki frown more. Suddenly, her head fell on his chest as she lost consciousness.

Loki immediately caught her and it scared him. "Y/n? Y/n talk to me. Please Y/n?", Loki pleaded as he shook her, calling for Bruce in panic. He came running to them, alarmed when he saw Y/n unmoving. In an instant he crouched down to check her pulse, it was slow but there.

"She's alive but she's lost a lot of blood. Help's on the way", he spoke calmly and rubbed her back. Loki was relieved but felt bad because he forgot about her bleeding arms. "She's going to be ok Loki, she will get all the help she needs", Bruce comforted him. And soon, an ambulance approached.
