Y/n and Frank have a fight,Y/n leaves and Frank is worried
TW: languageY/n was doing her research. She was trying to find a location on Billy Russo and some extra information that could be useful. She knew what he did to Frank's family and she wanted to help find him and end things for good. She wasn't a professional but was still trying to get any evidence if possible.
The reason why she was with Frank was because Russo killed her brother. The only family she had left was gone because of him and she wanted revenge. And Frank was her only option. After spending hours online, she found CCTV footage of Russo. He wasn't wearing his mask but only a hoodie. She knew it was Russo and it enraged her that he was out in the open.
He was leaving what she figured, an apartment building. She checked the history of surveillance and found that he was there almost every night. She knew that place and was already planning to check it out, but would Frank let her? And then the door opened.
Frank walked inside and with him was Lewis. It was 9.45 at night and they both looked like shit. "You're quite late", Y/n spoke and shut her laptop. "Yeah, no shit kid", Frank replied in frustration. Y/n frowned at Lewis and he only shrugged.
"I... found something. It's Russo, I saw him leave a building which is like 5 blocks away. A CCTV recording. We should check", Y/n explained with hope. Frank straightened himself and replied, "You what?". He and Lewis exchanged a look and then looked back at her.
"Frank we should check, maybe he's living there and it's a good chance-", "A good chance of what? Killing him? That's what you want kid?", Frank interrupted her as he stood up. Y/n didn't budge. She was helping him with the Russo shit and he didn't know why. He had asked but she had refused to tell him.
"And that isn't what you want?", Y/n questioned and stood in front of him. Her eyes were trained on him and his on hers. Once again he frowned, "You want him dead right? Why would you want him dead?! Who did you lose huh?! ", Frank yelled out as he banged his hand on the wall.
"Russo killed my brother!", Y/n shouted back. That got the attention of both Frank and Lewis. "He took my only family away from me and that is why I want him dead!", Y/n spat. Frank's expression softened as he took in what she said , but he had already messed up. Y/n immediately took her jacket and opened the door to leave.
"Fuck you!", she cursed before she left banging the door on her back. Frank was frozen for a minute or two. He realised he wasn't the only one Russo had fucked up. That his family wasn't the only one that was lost. He rubbed his hands on his head as he felt guilty for saying such things to Y/n.
"She'll be ok Frank", Lewis assured as he took out 2 beers from the fridge giving Frank one. He hesitantly took it and sat down. On the other hand, Y/n left the trailer broken. She missed her brother too much to keep her murderous thoughts aside. She wanted Russo dead. So that's where she went.
Y/n remembered the address and the time that Russo left everyday was always around midnight. It was 10.50 so she decided to wait. She was bored so she started walking around the area to find any clues. Suddenly, a loud noise was heard which followed with yelling. She paused at one place and focused on the voices.
She couldn't hear much but she knew it was an argument. And then she heard the door open. It was Russo who was fighting and now he was sprinting away. Y/n got on guard and ready for anything that might just happen but Russo only walked away in frustration.
Y/n followed him from a distance. After a while he slowed down and stopped by a gate to take a breath. Y/n saw this as a sign to attack him, whatever that was going to result in, so she sprinted and lunged at him from the back. He was obviously trained so he pushed her away instantly.
She didn't stop and charged back at him, planting her fist in his ribs which made him crouch. Seemed like he was already injured and she added to it. Russo then punched Y/n in the face but somehow she stood back up. But when he punched her again, she was down. Immediately he pulled out his gun but when he was about to shoot, a police siren was heard.
He saw the red and blue lights and ran, Y/n did the same. She didn't want the police asking her shit and kept running until she was out of their sight. She stopped in an alleyway to get a breather and her phone rang. It was Frank so she didn't answer. Y/n tried to make sense of what she just did a moment ago, it was dangerous as hell.
With a sigh she left the alley and began walking. Frank was calling her back to back so she switched off her phone. It was 2 in the morning and she didn't want to talk to him. It wasn't his fault anyway but she already fucked it up. Y/n soon reached a park unknowingly. It was the park Y/n and her brother used to visit...so she stayed.
Meanwhile, Frank kept calling Y/n even if it went to voicemail. He was worried that Y/n might have gotten into trouble somewhere. It was her habit. He told Lewis to stay in and left to look for Y/n. He was mad at himself for talking like that about her brother and now she was mad too.
Frank was concerned because she had left boiling with anger with a possible address of where Russo was. Bad thoughts filled his mind as he thought 'What if she went looking for him?'. Out of all the places, Frank found her sitting on a swing, alone in a park. The same park where his family was murdered.
He sighed in relief when he saw swaying there. Slowly he walked to her noticing the mud on her clothes. He stopped in front of her and frowned when he saw her black eye. "Kid?", he asked in concern. Y/n ignored him at first but replied, "What?". He stepped closer and asked, "Who did this?". Y/n looked up and sighed.
"Russo. He ran away", Y/n answered. Frank shook his head on frustration. "You know I really thought you'd do something like that. He could've killed you kid", Frank scolded. "Well he couldn't pull the trigger, the police came by on time", Y/n joked back and then she continued, "You know what? He should have. That way I would've joined my dead brother".
Frank sighed again and sat in front of her. "What were you thinking going after him like that? You listen kid, I do the killing not you, you got that?", Frank explained trying to get her attention. "Hey, look at me. Don't talk like that ok? It's him who deserves the bullets, not you. And I promise, I'm going to end him for good", Frank assured and stretched his hand out for her.
Y/n accepted it. They both began to walk home and Frank noticed Y/n rubbing her black eye in irritation. "Let's fix that when we get home yeah?", he said pointing at her eye. Y/n nodded and scrunched her face in pain. She knew sooner or later Frank was going to kill Russo, honestly she couldn't wait. But for now, Frank was going to apologise by fixing her eye.
