LoKi x Teen reader- Bullying

Y/n saves a kid from being bullied and gets hurt

Just the usual. Getting up, going to school, coming home, training, sleep. Y/n was fed up of this routine but did it anyway because what else could she do. She wasn't yet allowed to go on missions even though she had telekinetic powers. She was still learning but somehow not enough. And in all of this Loki and Bucky were the only ones who actually understood her.

It all started in the break where Y/n was quietly having her lunch. Just after her first bite, she spotted a group of students bullying the new boy. She saw them take his lunch away and took away his bag throwing all the books at him. Most of the people are outside so there weren't many around in the canteen.

Y/n saw the boy was getting bullied outside...where everyone could see, but no one chose to do anything. She thought it will get over soon and continued eating her pasta until she heard laughter. Her head turned at this and saw the bullies beating the new boy and everyone else was laughing. That was it.

Y/n immediately left her seat and went outside to the scene. "Hey fuckface!", she called out and the crowd went silent. The boy who was beating the new kid turned to face her. He raised his eyebrow in disbelief that she actually called him that. "Yes you, get off him", Y/n warned.

"Oh? And who are you to tell us?", the guy taunted back. "Don't worry, you'll soon find out", she smiled back. The guy clearly wasn't happy and lunged at her. Y/n dodged it smoothly and pushed him. He then turned and gestured to his bully friends to join.

They both grabbed her hands from the back while the guy, who was possibly the leader of the group punched Y/n in the face. She laughed. The guy frowned in confusion as to why was she laughing. "So weak, so pathetic you are. You need two people to punch me", she said with venom in her voice as she laughed again.

The guy became angry at this and pulled her by the collar away from his friends. And when he raised his fist again she blocked it and kneed him in his torso, twisting his hand simultaneously. His friends came to attack Y/n but she was too smart for them. One of them got her glorious kick and the other wasn't that skilled so he got slapped.

Just as Y/n went for another round, one of the teachers showed up. "Stop this right now!", she shouted. All eyes were on the teacher as she made her way to them. She saw the new boy sulking in the corner as recognised all the students at once. Y/n has always been a troublemaker but this was on the top of the list.

"Office, now!", the teacher ordered and all of them followed her. The new boy tailed behind too. They all reached the office and were made to sit outside as calls to their respective parents were being made. "You alright?", Y/n asked the new kid. He was wearing glasses and holding his books in his small hands. He nodded yes.

"You don't need to be here", she insisted. He didn't speak anything but kept his head low. For some reason he felt responsible for all of this. The bullies were sitting on the opposite side, away from these two with a staff member in the middle, just for the safe side and Y/n was eyeing them.

After a while footsteps were heard as Loki and Tony showed up. As soon as they saw Y/n their eyes widened. Her face was bruised and no expression was seen. Without knocking, Tony rushed inside the office and then voices of argument were heard. Loki crouched in front of Y/n and brushed his thumb on her face.

"You alright? Y/n, Please tell me what happened", Loki sat next to her and waited for an answer but she didn't speak. Somehow she felt guilty for all the this happening but she was glad that the new kid was ok. The door opened and the teacher called all of them inside.

"Will you explain or should I?", the teacher asked. Y/n squinted her eyes in irritation and tilted her head. That's when Loki knew she was going to explain the hell out of it. "I don't think you have the audacity to explain. Your school is full of shit, they were all laughing when this boy was getting beaten up and bullied. Is that what you've taught here?", Y/n scolded.

Before the principle could say anything, Y/n spoke up again, "If I didn't interfere, imagine what they would have done to him. I don't even know his name but I know one thing ma'am, that bullying is wrong and now you need to explain why am I the one being questioned here?", Y/n demanded.

The teacher was silent and so was Tony and Loki and the new kid. "I'll put forth new rules...to deal with this", the teacher said in frustration but Y/n wasn't done. "This shouldn't be dealt with, this... should be punished. They're all sitting outside and if you don't teach them...I will", Y/n stated and left the room. Tony and Loki followed.

"Hey...", a voice spoke from behind Y/n. She turned and saw it was the new kid. "Thank you for helping me", he expressed still having the disheveled books in his hands. Y/n smiled. "Don't worry, it's what friends are for. If anyone bothers you again, you tell me ok?", Y/n reassured and he nodded.

Before leaving, Y/n, Tony and Loki, one by one all of them eyed the bullies. They understood the warning. The ride home to the compound was silent. Loki kept his eye on Y/n because he could feel the guilt radiating off her. Tony was driving so he kept on glancing through the rare view.

Once they reached, Y/n didn't move at first. She kept on avoiding their eye contact as she left the car. She walked straight to her room but Loki stopped her. "We still need to look at that", he hinted and pulled her to the kitchen where Tony had the icepack ready.

"You don't need to do this", Y/n exhaled and tried to leave. Loki stopped her again. He gently took her hand and led her to a chair and made her sit. "It's ok. We're not angry at you", he said as Tony gave him the ice pack. "We're actually proud. Good work kid", Tony spoke and left.

Loki gently pressed the ice on her face and it gave Y/n a stinging sensation. She grimaced at first but then went back to normal. As he kept on tending her he spoke, "That was very brave of you". "I don't know why but when they started laughing, it enraged me. It wasn't something to giggle about", Y/n expressed. Loki nodded in agreement and smiled.

"Sometimes our emotions get the better of us. It's ok", he assured as he took the ice pack away from her face. She smiled slightly. "You did the right thing, even if it didn't look right", he said pointed at her bruise. She chuckled at this and embraced him right away. He slowly hugged her back. Loki was so proud of her for standing up.
