They say a person can't become your whole world, but they were wrong. While it's true the wrong people have your heart sometimes, most of the time, the right person holds your vulnerability.
The story of a girl. A girl I never thought I'd love more than anyone from the bottom of my heart. An awkward start to loving her as if she was my own kid. A bond that no matter who breaks down one will always hold the other. A bond where we see all our worst traits and still love one another.
She became my whole world. When you have a kid you put all your love and reveal your most vulnerable traits to them. You share moments with them nobody can replace. Well? She really is my kid, then. I put my love all into that girl, giving her all my most vulnerable traits and giving her my truest laugh in a singular moment.
She struggles, but even so I catch her when she trips backwards. The moments watching her smile and sing her favorite songs brings a smile like no other, admiring the softness of her personality and feeling like I really did have my own daughter.
Who am I kidding? Blood or not, she is my daughter, and I'll buy her a mockingbird just to see her world light up<3
