"Iris aren't you supposed to still be in Europe?" Kyoya asked curious as usual.
"Well Kyo-Kun my father sent me back for reasons that are confidential unless you have been given clearance." I answered.
"So you don't know?" Hikaru asked.
"Of course I know why I was sent back." I scoffed. "I just can't disclose the information as three, no four people in this room are not cleared." I said seriously, my voice void of all emotion as I held myself stiffly. In a matter of seconds I turned from the laid back girl I presented myself as to the cruel, harsh, emotionless young woman who lost their innocents in many ways before they could even multiply timetables. For a brief second the real me was shown. A person who knows how to fire a gun, climb impossible walls, scale buildings, jump from great heights and could throw knives. A girl that has stared at a blank wall for a time that would equate to years. A girl that has been tortured, kidnapped and abused. The Iris that has wilted but has not yet died.
I turned around and made my way of to the new comer. "I'm Iris it's nice to meet you." I said in a cute voice with a smile to the short, brown haired girl.
"I'm Haruhi." She said after a few seconds of staring and then continued to stare.
"Um Kyoya... I think I broke Haru-Chan" I said as I waved my hand in front of Haruhi's face. Kyoya just sighed.
"Iris you broke my precious Haruhi!" Tamaki overdramatically said. I rolled my eyes.
"I still have those photos..." I mumbled loud enough so only he could hear. He blushed a deep shade of pink.
"Iris you wouldn't..." Tamaki said carefully.
"Remember who you are talking to." I stated staring into his eyes. He shivered and ran over to Haruhi.
"Um excuse me but how do you know Tamaki-Senpai and Kyoya-Senpai." Haruhi asked.
"I've known Kyo-Kun for basically my whole life. I was the only one who was willing to put up with him." I said reminiscing on the only good thing in my childhood. "And Tamaki was the one who befriended me..." I trailed off.
"Iris we need to talk." Kyoya said. I turned and looked at him. He was holding his phone and looked pale but he was looking at me sternly. He walked toward the prep room and I followed obediently. As soon I was in the room he shut the door and locked it.
"Locks can't stop me from getting out you know." I said staring into his gorgeous eyes.
"I know. Why did he send you back?" He asked
"Because I killed an officer that was blowing our cover." I said not bothering to lie.
"How?" Was all he asked disappointment dripping from that single word.
"A single misfired bullet that happened to enter through his right eye passing through the brain and exiting 5mm to the left of the middle of the brain stem. They only suffered a few extra seconds of pain." I explained dropping my innocent act entirely. Kyoya brushed my pink hair away from my eyes. In private Kyoya and I were complete opposites He was Kind, caring and compassionate while I was cold, harsh and emotionless.
"Don't do that again." He whispered inches from my face. A single tear fell from my left eye as Kyoya made the action I had taken sink in. I shed a single tear for the life I had taken. Kyoya could make me feel. He could make me human even if it was only for a second.
