A/N So I wrote a chapter. Here you are, sorry for the wait don't expect another chapter anytime soon though I'm kind of lacking ideas but I felt I owed you guys another chapter so I sat down and wrote one that I'm happy with (I mostly wrote it because I got a comment asking me to update and I felt guilty for no longer updating regularly).
Please enjoy
~Rose"Mother what's wrong?" I asked worriedly as I rushed into the foyer where she was waiting for me to return.
"It's your father he's drunk again," She answered practically hiding behind me.
"Where is he mother?" I asked her softly watching for anywhere he could spring from. When he was drunk my father relived his army days where it was kill or be killed. We were both in danger and running would only make it worse. He didn't mean to hurt nor to get drunk, it's just he refuses to get help for his PTSD. Potential clients would turn away if they knew the man serving them could snap at any given moment. PTSD was hardly an issue as my father is always away on missions so he is always in the kind of situation where he gets little sleep and is always planning for every possible outcome.
We don't like to speak of it but at any given moment while my father is away he could be killed. Everyone in our household is aware of this as well as close family friends like the Ootori's. The Ootori's are the reason we know my father has PTSD they helped him get discreetly tested and tried to get him to seek help. As of yet no one has been able to convince my father that his PTSD is a problem but it is at times like this where I am well aware of how much danger my mother and I are in. "You've sent everyone home haven't you?" I asked my mother quietly as we slowly made out way through the abandoned corridors to my room where I knew I could keep both of us safe.
"Yes, I did that as soon as I realised he was drunk." My mother murmured back as we reached the corridor to my room. I nodded and put my finger to my lips telling my mother that she had to be deathly silent from now on before I peered around the corner making sure my father was not present. I slipped into the hallway beckoning my mother to follow.
We reached my room no issues and I fastened the many locks and bolts to secure my door shut from any possible intrusion. You might call me paranoid but I know what an assassin has the ability to do. I am one myself though it's not exactly the best way to introduce yourself. I pulled out my phone and sent a text to Kyoya that only said "SOS". He knew what it meant and he'd be able to contact his father much faster than I'd be able to.
