"I really wish you'd stop treating me like I'm fragile!" I complained to Yuuichi as he checked me over.

"It's amusing that the girl who locked herself away in her room is saying that," He smiled amused as I huffed.

"I'd rather not be killed or stabbed thank you very much," I murmed not at all amused by the situation at hand. about half an hour ago the Ootori special police force had been able to detain my father in one of the room in my house and gotten my mother and me out safetly.

"Why didn't you just leave as soon as you got home?" Yuuichi asked as he finished his examination determining that I was fit in health in every possible way that he could exaim as of this moment.

"I'd rather not have been fired at by a highly skilled sniper. It's safer inside than out," I explained boredly.

"Iris there is no need for the attitude." he scolded as I rolled my eyes and walked away waving to Yuuichi as I left.

"This is the 89th time we've come to your rescue in the past 11 years Iris." Kyoya stated as I walked by him.

"And for that I am very grateful as I am sure both my parents are as well." I told Kyoya as I stopped in front of him. "Any developments with Haruhi, her father and Tamaki?" I asked turning the subject of the conversation away from me.

"As far as I'm aware no, there have been no developments." He answered ending that line of conversation. We stood there awkwardly foramoment trying to figure out what to say next. "I'm glad you alright." Kyoya mumbled.

"I'm glad I am as well." I told he a blush dusting my cheeks. "Thank you for coming." I thanked realising I was yet to do so.

"It was no problem." Kyoya answered.

"Iris!" My mother cried from where she was sobbing in Mrs Ootori's arms.

"I've got to go," I told Kyoya waving goodbye as I ran over to my mother to comfort her.
