A Pleasant Surprise

After about a week of slowly driving Lief crazy, he started to become quiet towards me. It started to annoy me because it wasn't  fun anymore... We still slept in each others arms, but he left more space between us. 

One day  as I was sitting on the side bench of the boat looking at the wave patterns as we pasted through the rough waters, a spray of water erupted from the surface scaring me towards the floor of the boat. "Aww!" I screamed out. 

Laughter exploded from the other men. Lief looked over at me as I was picking myself up off the floor. I looked out over the edge of the boat again to see what had caused the disturbance. I smaller whale was swimming beside the boat and in the near distance a few more could be spotted. "Wow!" I exclaimed. "I've never seen a whale before!"

I reached over to try to touch the large animals back, when the waves rocked the boat causing me to topple  overboard. Shit. God that was stupid of me. The cold water had me tensing up and frozen solid the instant my head hit the water. I managed to get floating upright again but it was impossible to keep my head above the waves wearing so many layers.

The water splashed beside me and I panicked that the whale had decided to eat me while I drowned, but arms attacked my body instead of teeth. The layers were stripped off of me  with the help of Lief and his knife. I was able to float higher in the water but the cold was getting to me and making my whole body numb. Just as I was passing out from the cold and exhaustion, I felt the cool air replace the cold water as I was lifted towards the sky. What a shitty way to die, I thought.

Lief's POV

She was as white as snow and her skin was cold as ice. I had to get her out of these few last layers of clothing to get her to be able to warm up. I told my men to avert their eyes as I laid her on our sleeping area and untied to last layers quickly from her shaking body. When I got to her final under gown I paused for a second before I started to take it off. This was for her own good, I thought.

I began to run my hands down her body with a cloth to dry her skin off. She was beautiful and had slight curves in all the right places. Her breasts were small but perky from the cold air. Her wet long dark ginger hair was spread out around her head. I brush the hair away from her face and bent down to claim her cold lips to hopefully bring some cold back into her face. Her lips responded quickly to me. At least I know her body wants me even if it's for my warmth. I stripped my wet clothing off and rubbed myself dry before laying down beside her on the bed and wrapped the blankets and furs over the two of us.

This is what I've been fantasizing about for the last few weeks, but the cold water that I plunged into rescue Tegan from had my blood rushing to my vial organs instead of my prefer lower body one. I decided that caressing her body with my hands in the sake of warming her up was an appropriate thing to do. Her cool body arched and squirmed under my hot fingers. 

Once she was warmed, I got out of bed before she got up and got dressed. My men were heckling me as I got dressed and left her naked body without doing anything to her while she was asleep. 

"You couldn't get it up?" Ivan teased. 

"She's not fighting you now my lord!" Calik said.

"Quiet!" I growled at them. "I'm not an animal like you two!"

"That hasn't stopped you before!" Ivan stated.

I swallowed hard and looked away from my men. It was true I was going soft and this woman was changing me. Was it changing me for the better or the worst? That was the question I kept asking myself.
