"Raticate ice beam!" I yelled.
"Rataaaaa!" Raticate roared as it fired an icy energy beam at Barbaracle.
"Baaaaar!" Barbaracle said as it took the hit head on, then shook it off.

"Dammit...!" I cursed. "It's defensive is so strong."
"Use razor shell!" Preston yelled.
"Baraaaaa!" Barbaracle said as it rushed in with razor shell.
"Use crunch!" I commanded.
"Rataaaa!" Raticate roared as it chomp down hard on Barbaracle, overpowering its razor shell.
"Baraaa!" Barbaracle roared in pain as fell to the ground and fainted.
"How...?!" Preston said with shock.

"Barbaracle is unable to battle." Said Prof. Kaplan.
"Yes...!" I pumped my fists. "Great Raticate."
"Rata!" Raticate roared.
"How were you able to defeat Barbaracle like that...?" Preston said as he returned Barbaracle to its Poké Ball.
"My Raticate has an ability called hustle." I told him. "We exchanged accuracy for more power."
"That's risky." Preston smiled as he threw out his final Poké Ball. "This is my last Pokémon!"
"Tyyyyyraaah!" A Typhlosion appeared on the battlefield.
