Willis smiled and faced.
"Ready to do this?" He asked.
"Ready." I nodded. "I've gotten way stronger since the Gauntlet of Fists."
"I'm looking forward to it." Willis said.
"Declan vs Willis! Competing head to head in our second semifinal battle! Each trainer will have the use of 6 Pokémon and substitutions are allowed. When all 6 of either trainer's Pokémon are unable to continue, the battle will be over." Ember spoke. "When a side has lost 3 Pokémon, there will be a short 5 minute break. Now trainers, bring out your first Pokémon!"
"Electivire you're up first!"
"It's all you Appletun!" We both threw out our Poké Balls, and our Pokémon appeared.
"Electaaaah!"
"App!" They both cried.
"Having a full battle with you is something I've been looking forward to." Said Willis. "Especially after seeing your full battle with Braeden."
"I'll be sure not to disappoint." I smiled.
"Now... battle begin!" The referee said.
"Appletun draco meteor!" Willis yelled.
"Appaaappp!" Appletun fired a blast of energy into the sky that exploded into a shower of meteors.
"Electivire counter with thunder!" I commanded.
"Electaaa!" Electivire unleashed powerful bolts of lighting, colliding with the meteors that created an explosion.

"Electivire's thunder collides with draco meteor!" Said Ajani. "Neither side takes damage!"
"Not bad." Said Willis. "I thought draco meteor would be able to push through your attack."
"I thought the same thing when Braeden's Luxray did the same thing against my Salamence." I smiled.
"Then try this." Willis said. "Use apple acid!"
"Aaaaaap!" Appletun said as it spewed a stream of acid from its mouth.
"Block it!" I yelled.
"Electa!" Electivire said as the apple acid exploded into his guard, not dealing much damage.
