"Mawile flash cannon!" I yelled.
"Maaaaawiiiiiiile!" Mawile cried as she unleashed a steel powered energy beam at Rhyperior.
It was a direct hit, creating an explosion as it collided with Rhyperior's body.
"Nice!" I smiled, but the smoke cloud faded away, revealing that Rhyperior hadn't taken much, if any damage.

"How...?!" I exclaimed.
"Rhyperior's ability is solid rock." Tariq said. "It weakens the power of super effective moves."
"But Infernape was dealing good damage with mach punch." I said.
"It's like I told you." Tariq smirked. "Infernape is the only Pokémon on your team that's a threat. Or it was."
"Argh...!" I grunted with frustration. "Mawile focus punch!"
"Megahorn!" Tariq yelled.
"Maaaaww!"
"Rhy! Rhy! Rhy!" Rhyperior ran forward, it's horn glowing with power, while Mawile began preparing focus punch.

"Perior!" Rhyperior said as it jumped up and closed in on Mawile.
"Wile!" Mawile cried as the two collided, fighting for dominance.
