Let's Go! Dylan vs PK!

Braeden's POV

"Yo! Yo! Yo!" Ajani said as the stadium erupted into cheer. "Welcome back to the Alola Championships! Today we dive into the main event! We have our top 32 Competitors, who will be battling it out in two tournament brackets until two competitors stand at the top!"

The stadium cheered loudly as the Sun Bracket appeared on the jumbo screen. I sat in the stands with my friends so we could cheer together.

"The Sun Bracket is first so we have some time to relax, but even still... the crowd cheering makes me so excited to battle." Said Daniel.

"I know how you feel." I told him. "I can't wait for the Moon Bracket to start."

"Let's begin the first battle of the Sun Bracket!" Said Ajani. "It's Dylan vs Phoenix! Dylan is a trainer from the Jadis Region, who attended the Alola Battle Institution! Phoenix also attended, and is known for being a master of Pseudo Legendary Pokémon, earning the nickname PK!"

Apollo stood at the referee's position, and raised his arms up.

"The battle between Dylan Fitzgerald and Phoenix Kheller will begin." He said. "This will be a 3v3, and the battle is over when either side loses all 3 Pokémon."

"Let's go Dylan!" I cheered.

"I can't believe he's up against PK right out the gate." Said Declan.

"For real." Lenny said. "It's crazy how one of them is about to get a round 1 exit."

"I'm nervous. I want to see Dylan win, but I also know how strong PK is. He tore through everyone in the Gauntlet of Fists." Said Jailen.

"Come on that was forever ago." Said Willis. "Dylan's become so much stronger."

"The same could be said for PK. We'll just have to see how it all goes." Said Shimon.

"Bring out your Pokémon!" Said Apollo.

"Salamence, battle standby."

"Metagross hit it!" PK and Dylan both threw out their Poké Balls, and their Pokémon appeared.

"Raaaaaawr!"

"Meta!" They both cried.

"Dylan has chosen Metagross, while PK has gone with Salamence." Said Ajani. "Two powerful Pseudo Legendary Pokémon to start!"

A smile formed on PK's face.

"I'll teach you what it means to bring a Pseudo in the face of the Pseudo King." He said to Dylan.

"This is exactly how I wanted to face you." Dylan smiled back. "Your Pseudo's against mine."

"Both Competitors ready? Battle begin!" Said Apollo.

"Flamethrower." PK said, his arms crossed.

"Mmrraaawwrr!" Salamence roared as it spewed a stream of flames from its mouth at Metagross.

"Metagross psychic!" Dylan yelled.

"Meta!" Metagross unleashed a powerful psychic force, stopping the flamethrower in midair.
