"Battle begin!" Prof. Kaplan yelled.
"Centiskorch flamethrower!"
"Togekiss air slash!" I yelled my command at the same time as Sapphire.
"Centaaaaa!"
"Togeh!" Both of our Pokémon cried out as Centiskorch spewed a stream of flames at Togekiss, while Togekiss fired blades of air at Centiskorch.
The attacks collided, creating an explosion.

"One more Togekiss!" Sapphire smiled.
"Tokiss!" Togekiss fired more air slash blades, exploding into Centiskorch.
"Centa!" Centiskorch said as it rose out of the smoke cloud, taking the attack.

"Wow...!" Sapphire smiled at me. "It's defenses are impressive. That was a super effective air slash."
"When I first battled my Centiskorch, it wiped out half my team." I told her. "It's one of my strongest Pokémon for sure."
"Centa!" Centiskorch smiled.
"Alright flame wheel!" I commanded.
"Centaaaaa!" Centiskorch spun into a fiery wheel, and scorched into Togekiss.
