"Saiya!" Kiri called out beckoning the girl over into the depths of the caves where they would be awaiting their clan after the raid.

"Kiri, how are you?" she wondered if the girl was as nervous as she was. She had faith they would succeed but was not sure on how many casualties they would face because of it.

"I am okay, i know we can do this. I have already prepared salve for Lo'aks scratches."

Her comment making the both of them burst into laughter. Which unfortunately wouldn't last long.

Hearing crashes and loud booms in the distance over the period of time made the two girls anxious praying for the safe return of their family.

"You won't have any energy left to heal if you continue your pace like that." The Tsahìk scolded towards the two girls who couldn't seem to sit still.

"Grandmother they've been gone so long!" Kiri complained.
"And you expect them to win before lunch?"
They had been gone since early dawn and it was now way past lunch time.

"Tsahìk, it's just difficult when we do not know what is going on." Saiya tried to explain but was shut down sternly.

"Future Tsahìk. You should never worry, listen to your heart, Eywa is there and will guide you into peace. But only if you allow her to."

They all fell silent, the two girls taking in the Tsahìks words. She was right Saiya was the future Tsahìk but she was also right about not worrying, she should have faith in her clan.

"But Grandmother" Kiri began again before the loud flapping of Ikran wings came into range. The loud whoops and cheers from the warriors gave the idea of success which put ease in the girls hearts and everyone else who stayed behind, however Neteyams face showed complete disappointment and failure.

Removing himself from his Ikran he followed his father who couldn't have been more angry unless he had steam coming out of his ears and Lo'ak standing right beside him ears pinned against his head.

Saiya immediately rushed to her feet over to the boy, Kiri right behind her. Her smile fades as she saw the blood covering his torso and arms.

"Neteya-" She tried to reach out before being grabbed by kiri who had a worried expression on her face. Saiya looked back to be met with an angry jake who had already began his rant.

"Boys." He called out
"You're supposed to be spotters. You spot bogies and you call them in, from a distance!"

"Father i take full responsibility-" Neteyam began putting his arms up in a way to protect his younger brother before being shut down.

"Yeah you do!, because you're the older brother you gotta act like it!" His harsh words causing more damage than his physical wounds did.
Saiya searched his face, trying to read what his mind was thinking, the brief second of eye contact they had as Neteyam moved his head was all she needed.

"Ma'jake your son is actually bleeding." Neytiri voiced finally putting an end to Neteyams' half of the scolding.

Saiya, now free from kiris' grip immediately followed after the boy and his mother.

"Saiya." She again was stopped by the voice of her Tsahìk.

"There are other people you could be more useful to in this moment don't you think?" She chuckled, implicitly implying to the group of young warriors who sat in front of her waiting for her attention and care.

After healing all of the soldiers she could Saiya went back to the Sully hunt with the intention of making Neteyam feel better. She had grounded some aloe leaves with some of the gel to create a cooling soothe paste which left the skin feeling subtle and soft and healthier with the beneficial healing properties.

Once she entered the home she was hit with a cloud of unending noise and yelps of pain that she recognised all too well.

"Ow Ow Owww!" Neteyam cried out, convulsing his back away from his grandmother.
"Yalna bark is better." Kiri argued with her grandmother before smiling at Saiya and noticing the bowl in her hand.

"Aloe paste." Saiya answered kneeling down behind the boy taking over his exhausted grandmothers position and working her hands into the paste and on his wounds. Her soft hands and delicate movements ceased his pain at once and cooled the heat that pooled in his stomach, but stored it now somewhere else.

His hands immediately went to cover up the front of his tweng as he sighed in complete and utter satisfaction. "You can be rougher my child." "The paste must really get into the wound." Tsahìk advised her.

Not having time to respond Saiya felt a small body hug her from behind and squeeze making the girl accidentally press harder into one of Neteyams' wounds. "Ah Saiya!" He complained

"Sorry, it was Tuk!" She tried to explain whilst holding in a chuckle at his childish cries.

"Who's the mighty warrior?" Lo'ak teased from behind them, arms crossed next to his best friend Spider.

Saiya was one of the more welcoming to him. He was a sweet boy only looking for a place where he felt he could really belong, and what better than to make him feel like he could with her.

As she continued on his back Jake who was sat outside of the hut cleaning his gun still was approached by an unsettled Neytiri. There conversation didn't seem to be one of the pleasant ones, Jakes eyes glossing over whilst tossing his eyes back and forth between his sons and mate.

As darkness fell onto the beings of Pandora Saiya gave her goodbyes to the family and made her way home alone. Neteyam protested against it wanting to go with her, however his grandmother had plans for him to rest and fully healed by the next day.

As she arrived home she was greeted by her parents who waited up for her before they all fell asleep; the warmth of the air adding an extra layer of comfort.
