Saiya inhaled a shaky breath, feeling her brain pleading for her to turn around and go back home but her heart over powering her. Her heart yearned desperately for his words, his touch, his presence.

Tsireya said nothing but crinkled her forehead in worry that Saiya wouldn't want it. The battle was non existent, her heart had won, by miles kicking her mind to mush.
Saiya finally nodded gently, "Okay." She whispered seeing Tsireya smile in relief. "You'll connect to the Spirit tree just how you did the first time. But you must control your thoughts, think about Neteyam."
She instructed, although it wouldn't be hard, he was all she could think about.
"Relax your body, have a clear moment, a memory in mind of which the two of you share." She said pulling Saiya in for a hug.
Saiya hugged her back feeling her heart thumping incredibly fast.
"hm hm." She hummed in understanding before the two took in three large breaths and submerged beneath the surface.

The glowing aquatic plants and fishes gave light for them to see their direction, the spirit tree being the brightest of all. Its purple glowing tendrils floated freely in the water welcoming the two girls. Tsireya smiled at Saiya motioning for her to get closer and connect her Kuru to the Spirit tree.
And Saiya did, pulling her long braid from behind her head and holding the tendrils closer to it.
Her body relaxed as she felt her eyes close, a bright white illuminating behind her eyelids and fingers and toes losing their tension. Her mind immediately began to search from him as the white began to fade, revealing large trees that hung over her and foliage that looked at soft as ever. The bright sky above her and the feeling of the gentle swaying moss beneath her made her realise she was lying on the ground, breathing in the refreshing forest air. She was back home.

She shot up almost too quickly, making her head feel light headed. The sound of something being pulled out of water caught her attention, her head swivelling to see a perfectly muscular back that she could recognise with just the touch of her fingertips. Neteyam. He turned around to look at her in concern as he placed the fish he had just caught in the basket beside him.

"Are you okay Sevin?" He asked noticing Saiyas startled manner.
Her mouth ran dry as her voice suddenly became lost. Her eyes welled with tears seeing him again, hearing his voice. "Saiya? What's the matter?" He asked again, this time walking up to her and touching her arms to lift her from the ground to her feet. Her body almost felt faint, his grip on hers which she thought she'd never feel again. Her breath deepened, chest rising and falling rapidly, she couldn't tell if she was in a dream state or if he was really in front of her.

Without wasting another second she crashed into him, squeezing her arms around his torso and burying her face into the nape of his neck. "Oh Net, I missed you Tìywan (love), I missed so much." She shakily muttered repeatedly as tears streamed down her face.

Neteyam hugged her back although confused he smiled at the affection.
"I missed you too Sevin, but i was just by the river." He explained rubbing his arms up and down her back.
Saiya allowed more tears to flow and the memories of how he'd alway rub her back flooding back in.

"Why are you crying?" He asked feeling the tears fall against his skin.
Saiya realised he didn't know he was gone, he had no idea and she couldn't tell him.
"Bad dream, i had just had a bad dream." She whispered loud enough for him to hear. Although she wished it was all a dream. That she could go back to the real world and Neteyam could come with her. Be there with her.

"I'm sorry. You're okay now." He hummed kindly placing a gentle kiss against her head. Saiya struggled to not cry more and keep her grip on him, afraid that if she let go she'd never get to hold him again.
Finally she pulled back, staring at his face fully. It was him, she knew it was, she could feel it was him. The buttery feeling she'd get in her legs and buzzing of her heart and mind she would have when he was around came back like it never left.

Neteyam stared at her with nothing but complete adoration and love behind his orbs. The yellow still as bright and inviting as ever. He took his thumb swiping away at his mates tears, till there was none left. Saiya kept her gaze on him, analysing every part of his face, the twinkle in his eye and smile charming her in many ways. He leaned in swiftly, kissing her soft lips placing one hand on the small of her back and the other higher up to support her as he leaned in. Saiya wasted no time reciprocating the kiss and opening her mouth to give him entrance. He swiped his tongue against hers causing her to moan quietly, however a shuffle in the trees near by caught their attentions. Ears high and alert, Neteyam nodded his head in the direction of the noise, directing Saiya to follow him. She did staying stealthily behind him, sure to not step on a stick or crunchy leaf. But her attention kept being diverted to the man in front of her, how he was in charge, taking the lead and protecting her with his arm out in front of her. Neteyam was in front of her, still protecting her like he did before death. Her heart drummed like an uncontrollable earthquake but not because of the unknown noise they were following but because of him. The thought- no the reality of him being with her again sent flames driving down her nerves, sparks flying in her eyes.

They walked quietly until they reached the source before a large beautiful bird unexpectedly flew out in front of them, flapping away high into the bright sky. It's encapsulating red feathers fading the higher it went.
The two laughed at how startled they were by a bird in the forest collapsing into each other with laughter.
Saiya looked at Neteyam, watching his smile and listening intently to his enriching laughter. Eywa he was more than perfect, flawless if you will. Absolutely culminating.

He looked over at Saiya seeing her smile fade into a taunting expression, wordlessly begging him to be close to her. He stalked over, becoming face to face with her, wanting to touch her in every crevice he could put his hands on. Saiya blinked a few times, adjusting to feelings rummaging through her body. His hand traced the skin of her back, sliding down the slope of her spine. Their faces inched closer together as their mouths opened but they didn't kiss. Just breathing eachother in, waiting for the other to make the move.

Neteyam knew he wanted to, but he was going to wait and see how long he could hold out for, the tension causing him to harden beneath his tweng (loincloth).
Saiya gave in smashing her lips into his, teeth clashing and saliva flying. It was messy and desperate as they fought to touch each other anywhere they could, Neteyam over powered Saiya pushing her down to the mossy floor as he left open wet kisses against her soft skin. "Fuck." He sighed as they took a second to breathe. Saiya moaned at the light airy feeling of him kissing her until she looked down, wanting to watch him. The airiness of his kisses made sense as the world around her began to fade back into white, Neteyam along with it.

"Net, Neteyam." Saiya tried to speak but she couldn't as her mouth started to feel heavy. Suddenly the ground beneath her began to feel non existent as she finally lost sight of her mate and the forest greenery and was faced back with the glowing tendrils of the spirit tree.

Tsireya pulled her to the surface, panicked.
"No No! Why did you pull me out!" Saiya yelled, anger fuelling her.
"You were under for too long, you needed to breathe!" Tsireya explained hoping she'd understand.
"I was fine! I was with Neteyam!" Saiya cried back frustrated that Tsireya would take her away.

"You needed to breathe." Tsireya said again sternly, needing Saiya to understand how dangerous it could've been for her.
Saiya realised that Tsireya was only doing what she thought was right and trying to help.
"I'm sorry, okay i know. I just- He was right there Tsireya. I could touch him, kiss him." She admitted feeling her eyes well with tears.

"I know, that's why i wanted to bring you here." She smiled, pulling the girl in for a hug.
"Thank you." Saiya thanked, lips muffled against Tsireyas wet skin.
"You can come back another day, we should get going." She said as she mounted her Ilu who has already arrived along with Saiyas.
The two rode back to the main village, Saiya looking back the spirit tree one more time before riding away with a small smile on her face. She could be with Neteyam again.

Once they arrived back the village Tsireya had asked Saiya to keep it a secret which she gladly agreed before the two parted ways. Saiya heading back to their mauri and Tsireya her own.
