Saiya and Kiri returned to Saiyas hut falling onto the sand filled bags which they turned into things to sit on.
"I can't believe that actually happened." Kiri huffed, settling into the sand bag.

"It's Aounungs fault, such a skxawng he is." (idiot) Saiya mocked choosing to sit on the ground instead and cross her legs.

"I promised Neytiri I would fish with her tomorrow." She hummed leaning back on her arms, revealing her long torso.
"I could come, i don't see myself being much help though so you shouldn't either." Kiri joked causing the Saiya to jokingly throw a skinny spool at her that was lying on the ground.

"You don't think i'm a freak. Right Sai?" Kiri asked, the question had clearly been bothering her for some time.
"Kiri? Of course i don't think you're a freak why would you ask that?" Saiya asked, worried the boys words may have gotten to her.
"Just asking." Kiri replied, trying to mask her uncertainty.
"You're my best friend, my sister, i would never see you as anything different." Saiya comforted giving her a hug.

The two girls talked for a while before Neteyam finally returned and Kiri took it as a sign to leave planning to talk to her dad about how she felt.

"What did he say?" Saiya asked her back facing neteyam as she firmly closed the flap of the mauri.
"Nothing much to me. Mostly Lo'ak, he's making him apologise to Aounung." He sighed
"What?" Saiya yelled before realising her high pitch.

"Hìtxoa. What?" (Excuse me) She asked again her voice lower this time.
"I know." Neteyam half smiled not shocked by her reaction.

"I understand he is the chiefs son but he was also in the wrong." She complained, crossing her arms.
"It's okay Saiya, he's right we have to make peace here and that should start with Lo'ak apologising.

Saiya stared at him, noticing the softness in his eyes and his bleeding lip. "You're right." She sighed leading him over to her materials.

She sat him down and began to work on his bloody lip.
She grabbed a cloth dipping it in the watery mixture Ronal had showed her to make. She placed it against his lip causing him to move his head back in pain.

"Ow! what is that?" He complained licking the bitter taste off his lip and protecting his mouth with his hand. "It stings."

"It's salt water and fish ink." She explained pulling his hand down and gently pressing it back onto his cut. "Sorry tìywan." (love) She mocked smiling cutely at him.

Once finished the two laid on their mats, reminiscing the fight.
"He cried pxel prrnen." (like a baby) Saiya laughed as she wiped away the last of the tears on her cheeks from laughing so hard.

She sighed, her laughter dying down and turning her head to look at her future mate who seemed to be staring her.
"What?" She asked still smiling.
"Nothing." He lied

"You're not being truthful neteyam." She didn't like to use the term lying, it wasn't commonly used around her when growing up as no one did it.
"I don't like when you're not truthful." She mumbled, smile creeping away.

"I am sorry, I was just going to ask what you saw when you connected to the spirit tree, I was planning on asking you but i didn't have the time."

"Net, It's fine." She sighed turning to lay on her stomach now using her arms as support.

"I saw little me, my parents, I saw Tl'ezan." She huffed looking down at her hands.
Neteyam pulled her head back towards him sitting up beside her. "How did it make you feel?" He asked pushing a braid out of her face.

Saiya loved that he cared and showed it in the best way, making her feel comfortable enough to tell him anything and everything she felt.

"Lefpom (happy) so much Neteyam." She smiled, remembering the memories.
"We were younger, eating breakfast, playing, running. But that's all i saw until Rotxo pulled me out, her voice quietened.
