CHAPTER 38: DROWNED

Clio's POV

All of us were mesmerized by the beauty of the Guyam Island. The island has its white sand and crystal-clear water. It is surrounded by boats and tourists. And when we walked behind the palm trees, it revealed the hammocks that looks very relaxing. There are also stalls that sell foods and fresh fruit juices.

"Woah.." Hyacinth whispered upon seeing the beautiful island. There are kids her age that are running around this breathaking paradise. She immediately took photos of them with a smile on her face.

"Bella vista," rinig ko ring saad ni Rocco.

"Maganda talaga," bulong ko habang nakatingin sa pinakamagandang tanawin dito sa isla. Her eyes averted on me, leaving me speechless as she wear her sunglasses above her head.

"Mommy, I want to take a dip on the torquoise water!" Hyacinth exclaimed excitedly after capturing pictures of the island.

"Sure, mommy will swim with you." Natutuwa ring saad ni Vianca pagkatapos mag-iwas ng tingin sa'kin.

"È ora di nuotare, amico mio!" Masayang tinapik ni Rocco ang balikat ko. As if naiintindihan ko siya. (Time to swim, my friend!)

Nauna na silang dalawa ni Hyacinth na magtatakbo papunta sa dagat. Tss. Once I get close to Hyacinth, aayain ko ulit silang magbakasyon ng pang isang buwan, yung dalawang istorbo.

"You should join us swim, that's what he said." Vianca said, kahit hindi ko naman tinatanong. Hindi naman ako interesado sa sinasabi ng kaibigan niyang Italyano.

"Panonoorin ko nalang kayo." Ngumiti ako para hindi niya ako gaanong isipin.

"Come on, Miss Martinez," she uttered with her obviously annoyed tone. "Don't miss out this once in a lifetime experience." Dagdag niya kaya napalabi muna ako bago umangal.

"Pwede pa namang bumalik dit-" I sucked my own breath when she undressed herself infront of me, leaving only her emerald green swimsuit that accentuates her perfect shape. She left me flustered, unable to say a word.

I don't even know what once in a lifetime experience she's talking about now. Is it having the experience to dip myself into the crystal-clear water, or her, undressing herself infront of me, but either way, tama nga siya-I should't miss this out.

Lumusong ako sa tubig kung saan nandoon din sila. Mukhang tanga si Rocco na flex nang flex ng biceps niya, hindi naman pinapansin ni Vianca. Her eyes was on me, habang ako ay palinga-linga sa kaliwa't kanan niya. Bunch pair of eyes are staring at her. Who wouldn't pay attention to her undeniable gorgeous body and pretty face? Nasa kanya na ang lahat, ako nalang talaga ang kulang.

Hyacinth is happily enjoying the water. Hindi ako lumalayo sa pwesto niya para kung may mangyari man ay masasagip ko agad siya. She's actually good in swimming that's why I'm at peace watching over her. Vianca is doing the same as me, halos kay Hyacinth lang ang atensyon niya, still oblivious about the fact that she's being an eye catcher for every man around her.

"Mommy, I love it here!" Sigaw ni Hyacinth pagkatapos languyin ang distansya nila ng mommy niya.

"We still have tons of places to visit. You'll surely love every one of them." Kumento ni Vianca saka binuhat si Hyacinth.

Bilang ina ni Hyacinth ay nilapitan ko sila. I also want to show to these men that this woman has a daughter, with me.

Halos isang oras din ang itinagal namin sa Guyam Island. Sunod agad naming pinuntahan ang Daku Island. Ilang minuto lang ay nakarating agad kami sa isla.

Just like what Hyacinth did earlier, kumuha ulit siya ng maraming litrato ng lugar. Daku Island is bigger than the Guyam Island. Sa pagkakaalam ko, it's called Daku because in bisaya, daku means big. Both islands are beautiful, the only difference is the Daku Island is occupied by villagers.
