Boys. {Sonamy vs. Sonadow}

Chapter 4

-4th Period-
I'm still a little shaken up over that whole "Sonic meets Shadow" fiasco. Thank the Master Emerald I was there to reel Sonic away.
Talking about emeralds, I still have Shadow's diamond thingie.
Damn it! I was so close to give it to him, but then Sonic had to come and distract me. What...who were they screaming about anyways?
I don't know, but there's no use pondering about it now.
"Amy? Earth to Amy, are you there?" said Rouge, interrupting my train of thought completely. "What's up, Ames? You look like you're completely lost!" said Blaze with a laugh. I looked up at them and stood up. "So, where we headed for lunch today?" asked Blaze.
"I was thinking Burger King," smiled Cream.
"Burger King? Bleh! Let's go get Starbucks!" smiled Rouge.
"How about McDonalds?" asked Cream again.
They all nodded in unison. "Are you coming with us, Amy?" smiled Blaze. I nodded and stood up. Blaze and Cream picked helped me pick up my things.
"Who's driving?"
"I'm driving," I said as we walked to the parking lot. I turned on my car (that was fabulously pink, of course) as everyone got in. Few minutes later we were at McDonalds.
"Cream and I will order, you two find a good table to sit in," Rouge said with a smile as she took Cream and positioned herself in line.
"Let's go Amy!" smiled Blaze as she dragged me to a table near a big window. Flowers were visible everywere. "Good pick, Blaze," I smiled. She beamed at me and went to go get our drinks.
I turned my gaze to the back of the store and saw Shadow again.
Except that this time he wasn't alone, he was with other people.
I peeked over the table, making sure he couldn't see me, and saw him with Scrouge's gang. He was laughing and fist bumping and talking about some other junk I couldn't hear.
"He looks pretty cute, doesn't he?" said Rouge with a grin. I turned and saw her (and Cream) carrying a tray full of food. I blushed and sat down properly again. "I wasn't checking out the new guy, I was looking at who he's hanging out with."
"Didn't he and Sonic get into a fight in the morning?" asked Blaze, who had started eating her burger.
"Yeah, they did. But I don't know why."
I'm not lying! I seriously don't know why they're fighting!
"Oh, alright..wait, what are you holding Amy?" said Rouge, eyeing what I had in my hand.
I showed her the emerald thingie and she gasped.
"A Chaos Emerald?! Where did you get this?! This is worth so much money!"
"Chill Rouge, it isn't mine. New kid dropped it," I said as I put the emerald in my purse.
"Shadow dropped it? Why haven't you given it to him?" Cream asked as she stared munching on her fries. I shrugged and started eating my salad. If I didn't shut up, I'm more than sure that they'll be asking questions that I do not have the answer to.
