Playing in the Snow •Part 2•

The snow had accumulated over the past few days. There were big, thick piles of fluffy white snow everywhere. And it's still falling. Snowflakes everywhere.
I made my way to the park, admiring the beautiful yet delicate snowflakes that were falling from the sky.
There's not a lot of people out here. Winter gets too cold for lots of people, even I get chilly at times. But the snow is so beautiful, and you never know if there's gonna be more next year.
I sang a little song as I strolled trough the park. Christmas was just around the corner, so why not?
"Last Christmas, I gave you my heart, but the very next day you gave it away--"
"This year, to save yourself from tears, you should give it to me and not to the blue Faker," interrupted a deep, and utterly familiar, voice.
I turned and looked around, expecting to see Shadow around, but I somehow couldn't find him. How the hell is that even possible? For a guy with such dark colors to hide in the white snow.

"Look up, Pinkie," he said again. I looked up and saw him sitting on a tree, his face unamused. "Pinkie? That my new nickname?" I asked with a scoff.
"You wear a shit lot of pink, so why not?" Shadow replied and jumped off the tree, landing perfectly on his feet.
"What were you doing up there anyways?" I asked, eyeing the black and red colored hedgehog that was now standing before me.
"Well, I'm bored as fuck and I decided I would take a little nap up there...until I heard Pinkie singing and saw her walking by," he said with a smirk. I nodded and we stayed quiet for a bit.
"Hey Pinkie, you heard this song?" He asked and put an earbud in my ear.

"I'VE COME FOR BLOOD, BLOOD, BLOOD! AND IM NOT LEAVING TILL I HAVE YOUR HEART!"

I squealed and yanked the speaker out of my ear. "What the hell was that crap?!" I shouted as I rubbed my sore ear. He burst out laughing at my reaction, and my face heated up.
"It's metal, Rose. Quality music," he smiled.
"That's not quality music! It's a bunch of screamo crap! You don't even understand what they're saying!" I shored at him.
"Haha, okay then. What do you consider quality music then?"
I took out my phone and started browsing through my playlists. I then put one of my earbuds into his ear.

"Told me not to cry when you were gone. But the feeling's overwhelming, it's much too strong. Can I lay by your side? Next to you? You. And make sure you're alright? I'll take care of you. And I don't want to be here if I can't be with you tonight..."

"Not bad Rose, this is some good music," he smiled as he snatched my phone and browed through my playlists. "What's this?" He said and read the tittle. "Magnet, by Rin and Len Kagamine... I've never heard these two sing but whatever," he mumbled and clicked the song.
"Wait, don't click that!" I exclaimed and tried to snatch the phone back. He jumped to a tree with ease and looked down at me. "Sorry Rose, you're not getting this back until I finish this song," he smiled.
A few minutes passed and he gave me my phone back. "I didn't know you were into Chinese songs," he said with a smile. "It's not Chinese, it's Japanese. And Silver showed it to me, and I like it," I smiled and remembered how excited Silver was to show someone his Japanese fetish.
"Möbius to Pinkie, come in!" Shadow said and waved his hand in my face. I pushed his hand from my face and shoved him playfully. "I'm back, I'm back!"
"Hm...permission to do an experiment to make sure," he said with a smile.
"Hm...permission granted," I smiled back. He nodded and bent down to the snow. Then he shouted what sounded like, "look Rose, free yaoi!"
I turned, confused at what the hell Yaoi is. The moment I did was when I felt something hard and cold hit my back. I gasped and looked at Shadow, who was laughing his tail off.
I quickly made a snowball and threw it at him while he was still laughing. I smiled when I saw the snowball hit his snout. He looked at me, an excited but slightly obscured look on his face.
"It's so on, Rose."

~20 minute time skip brought you by I'm too lazy to write out a snow fight scene, and by doitsu.~

"Fuck Rose, you throw good," groaned Shadow, who was pained on the ground.
"Thanks!" I smiled and chucked a last snowball at his back. He groaned and stood up, shivering slightly.
"Shadow, are you okay? You're shivering," I started and touched his arm. "You're freezing!"
"Don't worry Rose," he grinned, "I'm just a little chilly."
I took off my red scarf and put it around his neck. "Hopefully that'll bring you warmth," I smiled.
"Rose, this is yours. I can't accept this," he said and started to take off the scarf.
"It's fine, I have plenty at home," I smiled and put it back on him.
"Thanks Rose, that's nice of you," he said softly, his cheeks turning slightly red. I smiled and ruffled his quills. "Anything for a friend," I smiled. He grabbed my hand and pulled me dangerously close to him.
"The problem with that Amy is that I don't want to be friends," he whispered in my ear.
"What do you mean, Shadow?" I replied quietly.
"What I mean ism that I l--"
"WATCH OUT!" Shouted someone as they fell on Shadow.
"WHAT THE HELL, SONIC?!" Shouted Shadow as he shoved the blue hedgehog that has fallen on him.
"Oops?" Sonic replied sarcastically.
"You fucking crossed the line mother fucker," Shadow said angrily. He then pulled Sonic from the cuff of his collar and dragged him away with ease.
"I'll see you guys later then," I said quietly.
