Boys. {Sonamy vs. Sonadow}

Chapter 3

Tension filled the once awkward air.
Goddamn it, could things get any worse?!
"Amy, I'm waiting for a response," Sonic said firmly. I let out a nervous laugh. "Hahaha...w-well, you see here...," I couldn't keep myself from stuttering. "H-he's a..."
"A friend," Shadow finished my sentence with a grin. I looked at Sonic and Shadow and I swear I could see the sparks between them. I almost expect Sonic to randomly throw a Pokéball and say, 'Luxio, use Spark!' For the record, Shadow would most likely have an Umbreon with him.
Wait, why the hell am I talking about Pokémon? There's a fight going to go down!
Sonic's face was a mix between anger and disgust, while Shadow's was filled with amusement and contentment. I stood there whistling and acting like nothing was wrong.
"So, tell me Sonic,why is it so bad that your girlfriend here makes a new friend?" Shadow said with a small smile. My face, on cue, turned beet red. "I'm not his girlfriend!" I exclaimed. "She's not my girlfriend," Sonic repeated, which caused Shadow's smile to grow a little bigger. "So, if she's nothing to you, then why make a big deal?"
"You know exactly why this is a big deal, Shadow!" Sonic replies with a yell that echoed throughout the empty hallway. Thank Mobiüs we came early. "G-guys, you're-"
"What happened there is part of the past Sonic!" Shadow replied with his own yell. Seriously, do they have to yell?
At that moment, I felt a cold aura coming from Sonic. I looked at him and his gloved hands were held in tight fists. The rings around his wrists were glowing. Goddamn it, that only happened when he got mad...REALLY mad. "In a bad mood, are we Sonic?" Shadow said cockily. He had noticed too.
"Did you come here to torment me again, or are you here to take Amy...like you took HER?" Sonic asked, his rings glowing brighter.
"Faker, I told you what happened back then was an ACCIDENT. I didn't mean for it to happen. And to answer your question, I am merely here to receive a proper education, for I heard this is one of the most popular schools when it comes to academics," he replied cooly. Sonic's deep green eyes stared long and hard into Shadow's blood-red ones. Damn, Shadow has nice eyes.
Sonic raised his fist. It's about time I intervened here.
"Sonic, walk me to class, please?!" I said, mustering on my best smile. Sonic looked at me and I could see regret and fear in his green eyes. He let his fist down and gave me a weak smile. "Sure, why not?" He gave Shadow a dirty look and walked away along with me.
Phew, I sure saved that one, didn't I?
