Skating in the Ice •Part 1•

[Heads up: I'm not sure how to skate in ice so I may or may not be acurate. Sorry about this. ~Lin]

Autumn had passed, and winter has
come. The snow falls gently and accumulates in fluffy white piles.
It's been a few months since I met Shadow, and a few months since he's fought with Sonic. It's been really peaceful to be honest, no fights and no drama. Heck, the only news there has been is that Blaze finally got the guts to flirt with Silver. So adorable.
"Amy, you gonna skate with us?" Blaze smiled as she gave me a pair of skates.
"Blaze, I don't know how to skate," I said worriedly as I took them.
"C'mon Ames! It's easy and fun! I'll teach you and Cream!" She beamed as she helped me put them on. I nodded and smiled.
I don't know how the hell to skate! I don't even know how to stand in ice, for that matter!
"Alright Cream and Amy! Get your skates in the ice and try to balance!" Blaze started. Cream smiled and set her left skate on the ice. She stood for a while and then set her right skate. She stood still again and then smiled. "I'm balanced!"
"Good job Cream! Now you try, Ames!" Blaze smiled excitedly.
I gulped and set down my left skate on the ice, trying to mimic what Cream had done. I stood still for a bit and then brought my right skate on the ice as well. "Yes! I did it, Blaze! I did it!" I said excitedly.
"Good job guys! Now I'm going to teach you my favorite part, skating! All you have to do is spread your legs apart slightly and push yourself!"
Cream gently and slowly spread her legs apart and stared skating. She wobbled a little bit, but regained her balance and kept going. "I did it, Blaze! I did it!" She said happily.
I shook my head cockily. I could do this too! I spread my legs apart and quickly pushed myself, skating across the ice quickly. I looked up and saw how fast I was going, and I don't know what scared me more:
•The fact that I don't know how to stop
•The fact that I'm going super fast
•The fact that I'm going STRAIGHT AT SONIC! SHIT!!
I screamed and fell ontop/ tackled Sonic.
"Woah, Ames! Where did YOU come from?" Laughed Sonic as he helped me to my feet. I wobbled and fell back on top of him. I'm still in skates. I'm still on ice.
"Sorry, Sonic! It's my first time skating so... Wait, what are YOU doing here?" I asked as I tried to stand up again.
"Well, I love ice skating! It's my favorite thing to do in winter," he smiled.
Blaze came towards us (skating like a pro and holding Cream up). "Hey Sonic, why don't you help Ames learn? She's having a little trouble."
"Yeah, sure!" Sonic smiled. Blaze winked at me and gave me the thumbs up.
"It really is simple Ames. You just," Sonic started as he got behind me, "spread your legs apart and try to push yourself."
"I tried Sonic, but I ended up falling on you," I replied sadly.
Sonic put his hands on my arms and extended them. Then he motioned me to put my hand on his arm. "Keep a good grip," he smiled.
I nodded, and he slowly started skating. I felt a smile crawl into my face, and I saw his deep green eyes glittering like emeralds, happiness and excitement obvious in them. I stared moving my feet to follow his pace, and soon we looked like a pro ice skating duo.
"Good job Ames!" He said excitedly as he picked up the pace and the speed. My pink hair brushed against my shoulders and against the wind. Sonic smiled as he twirled me around, and soon we were waltzing on ice. His hands on my waist, my arms around his shoulders, both of us swaying in sync.
"It's snowing again," Sonic said as he looked up.

It was.

So what I've decided is to make a 4 part chapter. Two including Amy's POV and 1 chapter including Sonic's and another including Shadow's.
