Idiot •Part 3•

~Sonic's POV~
"You went too far you idiot! Too far!" Shadow screamed as he dragged me away from Amy and farther into the park.
"How did I go too far?! All I did was fall on you!" I shouted back.
"I was in the middle of something important!"
"Lier, you were just talking to Amy!"
"I was in the middle of a confession!"
"Wait, what?"
"You heard me! I was gonna confess when you came and ruined everything!" Shadow said, more angered if possible.
"What were you going to confess?" I asked quietly. I have an idea but it couldn't be it, right? He couldn't possibly--
"I was going to tell her I loved her," he said quietly and dropped me on the ground.
I fell on my ass with an "ouch" and stood up. I looked up at Shadow (yes, he's a few inches taller than me) with a stern look. "Are you serious? You we going to tell her you loved her?"
"Yes. I'm serious. I've grown quite fond of Rose," he sighed and smiled...a smile I haven't seen since we broke up.

[Lin: LOL DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING DID YOU?! >:D]

"Really..." I said, my voice quieter than how I expected it to be.
"Yeah. But then you came and interrupted things," he said with a chuckle.
We stood quiet for a bit, but it wasn't an awkward silence. It was more of a warm silence, where old memories lingered.
I shivered a bit and sat down on a bench that was nearby. It's fucking cold out here and I didn't bring anything at all. "I'll be back in a bit," Shadow said quietly and walked off.

Shadow the Hedgehog. A dark and mysterious name for such a mysterious person. I think it was how obscure he was that encouraged me to meet him. Going to talk to him was easy. Having him open up to me was the hard part. It was day after day that I went to his lunch table, saying "hey! How are you?" Day after day he would ignore me like I wasn't even there. One day, I had found him crying in the hall. I went up to him and have him a hug. He, surprisingly, hugged back and cried into my shoulder. We stayed there for around 2 hours, hugging. Him crying and me rubbing his back, telling him it'll be okay. When he pulled back, he smiled at me and said ,"Sonic, is it? I'm Shadow, nice to meet you." He looked so cute. So fragile. Since that day we talked more and more, and we became the best of friends. Two months later he had asked me to be his boyfriend, and I happily accepted. No one knew about our relationship...except Silver, who found us kissing. He accepted it though, and was cool with keeping the secret. We had a happy relationship...until we broke up... Funny thing is that I never asked what he was crying about in the first place...

"Sorry I took so long, the nearest store was closed and I had to walk three blocks to the next one," Shadow said suddenly behind me, clearly out of breath.
"What the hell did you need to go to the store for anyways?" I asked and turned my head to him.
"I saw you shivering and decided to get you something to keep you warm," he said and handed me a green scarf. "There weren't any jackets or anything, but I though a scarf would look nice on you."
I looked at the scarf and took it. I did the weird Mikasa scarf thing Silver had taught me and I looked up at Shadow. "Thanks Shadz. Really," I smiled.
"Heh, no problem," he said with a smile.
I stood up and hugged him tightly. He stood there for a while, dumbstruck, and then hugged back. His hug a bit tighter than mine.
"Just like the first time, hm?" Shadow asked quietly.
"Yeah. I just need you crying like a baby again and it's on," I said with a smirk and pulled away.
"Moron," Shadow said with a smile. "And by the way, it's a little obvious that you're going after Rose too. Good luck with getting her, she's almost mine," he said with a smirk. He then turned and started to walk away.

"It's on," I smiled, clutching the scarf to my chest.
It's so on...

Such an awesome chapter. To be honest, I think this is the best chapter I've done so far.
How many of you were shocked to hear that Shadow and Sonic were a thing? Lol I said I liked Sonadow, I don't see what the shock was.
I got a little bit of feels while writing this, because I was thinking about that special someone all the time.
Anyways, if you guys liked it vote and comment. I'll try to make the next chapter with more feels.
