I said at the start that this story is personal to me and that's because it's loosely based on a break up I went through a little while ago. I never dated any strippers, but I did drown out a lot of the pain with alcohol, which wasn't very healthy. I'm sober now thankfully and I've moved on to bigger and better things.
But, I wanted to share the story to maybe help some people that might be going through some similar stuff. It's never easy, but we've all been there. And, I promise there's something better waiting around the corner. Even if it may not seem like it right now.
To anyone who's read this far, I just want to say thank you. For me, writing became an outlet and I wouldn't have been able to do it without you guys.
