Maanveer was working on his laptop and Aashi was continually switching her side as she isn't able to sleep. Maanveer was noticing everything but stayed silent

"See baby,now baba Don't have time for us. He knows that we can't sleep without cuddling him but still he is giving priority to his work" she mumbled and scrunched her nose

Maanveer tilted his head and saw watch,it shows eleven fifty five. He shut his laptop screen and put on table. He slipped himself in blanket and pulled aashi towards him. She turned and back faced him

"Jaana,I know you're up" he whispered In her ears covering her stomach

"Veer please let me sleep" she said in sleepy voice

"But I want to talk to my baby" he again whispered caressing her tummy

"No you go and do your work. Me and baby will talk to eachother " she taunted

"Hawww you''re sidelining baba" he said with fake horror

"No,baba has important work no,let him do" she said without looking at him

"Okay na,now I'm free" he said and kissed her cheek

"But I'm not" she said and remove his hands from her belly

Maanveer hovered her. Putting his elbows on bed he leaned down and placed a kiss on her nose. She moved her head other side

"Why my jaana is angry " he whispered

"I'm not,now leave I have to sleep" she said  scrunching her nose, not being able to answer under his intense gaze

"This early " he asked

"It's twelve in night,it's not early " she said rolling her eyes

Maanveer leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on her neck. Kissing her earlobe he whispered

"Happy birthday soon-to-be  maasa" he wished her and her eyes went wide with smile on lips

"You remembered " she asked smiling

"How can I forget my precious day" he said and kissed her nose

"I thought you forgot " she said and pout

"I have never forgot your birthdays till now,how can I forget this time" he said and smiled

"Thank you so much soon-to-be baba" she said giggled

"Where's my return gift" he asked raising his eyebrow

"Return gift? Atleast give me a gift for return gift" she said matching his tone

"My gift is already in you tummy" he said

"Oo hello,isme humari bhi mehnat hai" she blunted out

Maanveer raised his eyebrow at her boldness

"Isn't my jaana is getting bold" he questioned. Aashi realized what she said and her eyes got widen

"No veer,I didn't mean to say that,it just came out" She started murmuring

"Stop jaana,now please give me my return gift" he started caressing her lips

"Okay,but where is my gift" she asked raising her one eyebrow

"Tomorrow, and I promise you'll love the gift" he said and smiled

"I know, hamare veer ka gift kamal hi hoga" she said pinching his nose
