Mia's pov

I woke up scared, knowing I had to say goodbye to my best friend today.

I got up from the bed I was sleeping on and went to the closet.

I pushed shirts and dresses away until I found a appropriate funeral dress.

I put the black dress on along with matching heels.

I sat back down on the bed with a sigh.

Everything was going too fast.

As I spaced out the door slowly opened.

A little head popped out.

It was Miko in a black tux and shiny black shoes.

Mia: Hi baby, is everything ok?

He looked at the ground.

Miko: Can you do my hair..

I looked at his head. His crazy hair was everywhere.

A small smile came on my face.

Mia: come here sweetheart.

I got up and leaded him into the bathroom.

I picked him up putting him on the counter.

I took out some gel and a comb.

Miko: Titi

Mia: Yes?

Miko: Does mommy have to go?..
He said with a shaky voice about to cry

Miko: I hate him!

I let him go to bill as I finished getting ready.

I fidgeted with the matching bracelet me and Ellie got on her 12th birthday.

I killed him Ellie. I killed the man who aggressively killed you. I'm sorry that man had to be my father.

I pushed myself up from the bed walking to the door.

I held the knob of the door hesitant to join everyone.

Tom's pov

Tom: Are you sure you want to do this today?

I said putting my hand on my brothers back worried for him.

Bill: If I don't do this today I won't have the strength to do it again.

Bill: I'm ready.

Tom: Ok.

Bill: Can you go see if Mia is ready.

I gave him a look.

Bill: Come on Tom she lives here your gonna have to interact with her.

Tom: I do, it's just she acts weird. 

Bill: Because your her lover but you don't remember her, the situation is weird she isn't.

Tom: Like I told you I don't do love.

He sighed shaking his head ready to walk out the house but stopped.

Bill: Just tell her we are ready.
