Yoongi grinned at me and took my hand, pulling me towards the door. The others, who were also quite intoxicated, hummed the wedding march and giggled. Whose stupid idea was this? Stumbling slightly behind Yoongi, who seemed to be able to walk quite well despite his alcohol level, I thought that we should at least wear masks so as not to be recognized right away. Due to the ongoing K-Con, there were quite a few K-pop fans in Las Vegas. So I grabbed two masks that were lying at the coat check while Yoongi grabbed an open but almost full champagne bottle. Once again, he pulled me along until we stood in front of the elevator, appearing excited and playful like a child who had eaten too much chocolate. Since I didn't know him like this, I attributed it to all the shots we had already consumed. But no matter how silly I found this obligation, seeing Yoongi so happy also affected me, infecting me with his joy and carrying me along. With a "bling," the elevator door opened and Yoongi pulled so hard that I collided with him due to the momentum, only prevented from falling by the mirrored wall inside. As a result, he practically stuck to the mirror with his back while I hung onto him, causing both of us to laugh after staring at each other dumbfoundedly with our faces just inches apart.
"Not so rough, Hyung. I'm not going anywhere," I whispered softly after we had calmed down again but hadn't moved an inch away from each other because he was just so comfortable.
"Better safe than sorry, don't want you getting lost or someone taking you away," he replied just as quietly as I did, gently looking into my eyes before wrapping his arms around me and holding me tightly for the entire ride down to the ground floor. Once downstairs, we put on our masks again, and Yoongi took my hand once more. He had hidden the bottle under his oversized shirt so that we could discreetly walk out of the lobby. Outside, he took it out, took a sip, and then handed it to me. The bottle went back and forth, and by the time we reached the chapel, it was already empty, and Yoongi threw it into a hedge on the side of the road with an
"Oops, it slipped right out of my hand."
"You environmental sinner," I playfully chuckled accusingly, and he cheekily grinned as he came close to my ear.
"Oh believe me, later I'll show you all the sins I'm capable of," he confidently promised, sending a pleasant shiver down my spine.
He smiled at me suggestively as we entered through the entrance and were greeted by an overly enthusiastic Elvis impersonator who sang "Love me tender" to welcome us. Since Yoongi's English was better than mine, he spoke to him about the packages while I looked around. When an older lady asked me for my passport and a signature, I didn't think much of it and gave her what she asked for. Yoongi approached me and said that they wanted to perform this for us and that we should go to the altar. He wasn't entirely sure because the man was speaking too fast and he didn't understand everything. Not wanting to spoil the fun, we went along with it, and he immediately started his program. When he asked if we wanted to take each other as husbands, we played along giggling and affirming everything while holding hands and looking into each other's eyes. We burst into laughter repeatedly, but when the King allowed us to kiss, Yoongi instantly became serious and kissed me possessively. After we pulled away, we were handed a certificate and congratulated, which left both of us looking confused for a moment.
"Hyung... we didn't actually get married, did we?" I giggled because in my intoxicated state, I found it all just funny.
"Nah, it'll be like ours, the ceremony is only valid once you register the marriage afterward," he shrugged. At the exit, Yoongi paid because they offered us photos that the old lady had taken of us. With Yoongi's phone, we took some selfies inside and outside the chapel and sent them to the others. Then Yoongi took my hand again and walked back to the hotel with me.
"Why are you in such a hurry? Don't run like that. Do you have something important to do?" I asked laughing, and he turned to me with a grin.
"Now comes the best part... the wedding night."
