The flashback ends here
Yeosang
Yoongi looked just as exhausted as I felt, no wonder, he had drunk just as much as I did. Shyly, I looked at him, not knowing what to say or how to react. We were actually married, and I had lost my innocence on our wedding night... It should have been something exemplary and something my mother would be proud of... but... the fact that I was too drunk to remember that I had just married someone I didn't love and that my family would now find out about it from the internet...
I covered my face with my hands and felt ashamed to the core. How stupid one becomes when they drink. How could we not realize that it was a real ceremony? I remembered the chapel, the ceremony, the way back to the hotel, wild kisses, and another bottle of champagne, then nothing...
"Why did you post all of this on Twitter?" I asked him, and he looked at me remorsefully.
"I have no idea... I don't even remember doing it," he said while rubbing his seemingly painful forehead.
"We are so screwed... Has your manager contacted you yet?" I wanted to know because I suspected that they would want to see us both soon. He looked around for his phone, found it next to the bed, and as he reached for it, the blanket slipped off his bare ass. Oh God, what a sight. I almost drooled, unable to look away, and even though sober me probably wouldn't have slept with him, I cursed not remembering it right now. Would he pull the blanket back up before turning around? Well, it wouldn't hurt to take a look... oh man Yeosang, get yourself together. Shaking my head at myself, I turned away and grabbed my boxers, quickly slipping them on while Yoongi was still lying on his stomach, as God made him, reading his messages.
"We should get dressed, they'll be here in few minutes," he warned me, and so I wanted to put on the remaining clothes from last night that smelled terrible of alcohol. But Yoongi stopped me as he shamelessly walked over to the closet, giving me a full view. While I admired him in all his glory, he threw fresh clothes at me that fit perfectly, thanks to our similar build. We had just finished getting dressed when the door opened and two extremely annoyed men, aka our managers, entered without knocking and sat down at the small table in Yoongi's hotel room, staring at us expectantly. The situation was more than uncomfortable; I was so embarrassed. I had once sworn never to cause a scandal, but now I found myself sitting across from my manager and couldn't even bring myself to look up.
Yoongi sat down next to me and took my hand under the table, stroking my hand back with his thumb to calm me down. He could be more relaxed; not much could happen to him. He was a global star, but I was still at the beginning of my career, and everyone knew how quickly one could be kicked out of the band. Especially since I had the fewest lines... Maybe I should just accept the marriage and become a good housewife for Yoongi. I started planning my life after being kicked out.
"How long have you been together?" their manager wanted to know. "We're not..." I wanted to object.
"Since last night," Yoongi said at the same time, and I looked at him surprised, just like he looked at me.
"I see there is a need for discussion between you two. You should clarify this very quickly because whether you like it or not, you are married, and the whole world knows it," their manager said seriously, and we looked up in surprise.
"Can't we just pass it off as a drunken joke? The marriage isn't even registered. It doesn't count, right?" Yoongi interjected, but both managers shook their heads.
"We're not in Korea here; thanks to globalization, a valid identification document and a quick check on the internet to see if you're single is enough. Your marriage is legally binding," our manager explained.
"Can... can't we annul it due to alcohol influence?" I asked meekly.
"You could, but you won't. The damage would be irreparable. Best example is that one singer... she was a global star, got married while drunk, annulled it immediately, and now she's only good for reality TV shows," he answered my question and shattered all my hopes of getting out of this situation.
"We have been monitoring the reactions and have a plan on how we can still from this. Apparently, you guys are popular among fans. Surprisingly, girls go crazy for this Boy x Boy stuff, as they call it... They're going wild. That's why you'll stay married," explained the BTS manager, and you could tell he didn't quite understand it.
"Well, it was obvious, don't you guys read Wattpad?" Yoongi asked with a smirk, and I was slightly taken aback because he wasn't getting upset and just accepted the fact that we had to stay married. He still held my hand, and it seemed like he was trying to transfer some of his calmness to me.
"Anyway... today there will be a press conference where you'll show yourselves as a couple in love, explain that you've been together for a while and spontaneously got married yesterday because you couldn't bear to be apart anymore and couldn't stand the hiding anymore. You'll say it was without the knowledge of the entertainment company and apologize for going against their wishes. Of course, you'll be forgiven, and generously, a house will be provided for you to live together. Both bands will move in there." he instructed us, and I was horrified.
"We have to pretend to be in love with each other? But we can't lie to the fans like that." I exclaimed angrily and then glanced briefly at Yoongi, whose expression suddenly looked hurt.
"Not only can you do it, but you have to. If you break up or tell the truth, your careers are over," their manager warned us. Unhappily, I looked back at Yoongi, who no longer met my gaze, and now I also noticed that he had let go of my hand. What had we gotten ourselves into?
