"No fucking way am I getting the car with you,"

"Alessia just get in, you'll catch a cold,"

"No, I don't get into stranger's cars!" I sneered, a flash of sadness crossed his face.

"Fine then, I guess you can just wait here for half an hour til the rains stops and then take 10 to 20 minutes to walk home, even though I can make it back to your house in 5 minutes," Andrei sighed as he started to roll up the window.

I debated it in my head for a moment.

Stay out here and be sick so I can't go the mafia ball.
OR
Get in that lying bitch's car for 5 minutes.

I picked the latter, it will only be 5 minutes anyways.

"Wait," I said, as he rolled the windows back down. "I'll go with you,"

"Perfect choice sweetheart," He smiled, as he got out of the car and opened the door for me to get inside.

I sat down, put the seatbelt on and waited for him to get inside the car. Once he did, he started the car and began to do a drive off into the direction of my house.

"So..." He began.

"So what? We don't have anything to talk about," I huffed.

He went silent for a second.

"Are you going to the mafia ball?"

"Yes,"

"How are your brother's taking everything?"

"They're fine,"

"I truly didn't want to hurt you, I just- I couldn't bare to have seen them start to chop off your limbs, I couldn't bare to see you get hurt because of me. I have hated myself for letting you go, for not telling you that I was still alive, and that I do still love you. I wish I could have told you this ages ago, but I just couldn't. I thought I was protecting you,"

A single tear fell from my eye, but I brushed it away just as quickly as it fell.

"I understand that you had to do what you had to do, but you could have told me, you know I would have let that gang kill me just to keep you alive. But, I know that they wouldn't let me just die like that, because then they would have to kill you anyway for your role." I sighed. "I missed you Andrei, really I did, but so much time has passed and I grieved your loss endlessly,"

When we eventually pulled up at my house, it seemed as though we had been in the car for hours, when in fact it was just over 7 minutes.

"Hey, I thought you said it would take you 5 minutes to get to my house," I pointed at the clock. "It's been 7,"

"Well it's looks like I got the timing wrong, but as it happens it is still raining and you would still be waiting under that tree for the rain to stop,"

"Yeah, yeah I get it, thanks for that," I got out of the car and ran up to the gate which was opened for me, and ran inside the house.

As soon as I stepped instead I cursed loudly.

"Shit!"

I ran back outside, and luckily his car was still outside.
I opened the door and grabbed the bag, uttering out a quick thank you, before sprinting back inside.

By now, all my brothers were gathered at the entrance with an amused look on their faces.

"What?"

I walked over to the mirror and saw my attire, I was drenched by the rain and my hair was a bedraggled mess that looked like a bird's nest.

"Oh shit my hair," I sighed.

"Alessia you do realise you walked inside sweared so loudly it echoed throughout the house and then came back inside, only to swear again?" Andreas asked.

"I realise," I smiled, as I made a turn for the stairs.

"Oh Alessia?" Stefano asked.

"Yeah?"

"Who was that man who dropped you off?"

"Man? Why were you with a guy Alessia?" Vicenzo asked.

"He was no one, all he was doing was dropping me off. I would have been soaking wet under a tree, shivering all over, I was lucky he was there," Not wanting any more unnecessary confrontation, I walked off up the stairs.

"Hi Alessia," Damien half smiled at me, and Daniel beamed brightly at me.

"Hey guys, how are you?"

"I mean, we're fine, but we can't say the same for you," Damien laughed.

"Ugh don't even go there," I groaned. "I look awful I know!"

"So, did you get the material you were looking for?" Daniel asked excitedly.

"Yes I did, and I won't show you unless you promise you won't tell everyone,"

He debated it for a second.

"I promise!"

I showed him the black flowy fabric, before shoving it back inside the bag.

"I'm going to go and start making my dress, bye guys!" I waved, as I walked inside my room after gaining some 'Bye's' from the both of them.
