// for Rubee who is plain beautiful //

I'm glad you're picking up on June's façade and yes, everything that happened in the previous chapter happened for a reason so most of your comments are right. I won't say anything else because I don't want to give anything away. The chaos officially starts in the next chapter.

Also, for those of you who are into cheesy romance stuff it would be lovely if you could check out my other book called Stars. It's a project I was working on for the #JustWriteIt challenge and it went absolutely well!

For those #Jimmy shippers, here's a chapter.

CHAPTER SIX
Unspeakable Horrors

Juniper Stauff tossed and turned in bed. The bed was rough, the pillow was stiff and the blanket was not as soft as it usually was. She breathed in the scent of Dimitri's cologne and smiled in content. Then she realised that this was not her bed. Her pillow surely didn't have Dimitri's fragrance on it. Her eyes opened and she jolted awake, sitting upright, her senses alert.

Instantly her head began to pound and Juniper winced at the throbbing pain in her head. Looking around the room she realised that only a two nights ago she was here. This was Dimitri's room.

But how did she get here? She could not even remember anything from last night. The last she remembered was her going over to the bartender at Brooke's party and drinking away into the night. For some odd reason the number eleven popped into her mind. That confused her. Why was she thinking about the number eleven?

Then something else struck her. She wasn't wearing the dress she attended Brooke's party in. Instead she was wearing a long, baggy blue shirt and chequered boxers. The last she checked, the shirt and the boxers were not part of her closet. She remembered the blue shirt on Dimitri...but the boxers? Was it his too? Oh gosh, Juniper thought while blushing at the same time. Why was she wearing his boxers and how on earth did she get into these clothes?

Flustered by the thought of Dimitri getting a look at her body, she got up and walked towards the door. Once out of the room and pass the door, she heard muffled voices emerge from downstairs. Maybe Dimitri was watching television.

Wait. What if his father was home? Juniper was intimidated by Mr Remirez. Before his wife's disappearance, he was always jolly and she loved how Mr Remirez treated her as his own daughter. But after his wife's disappearance he never gave Juniper a second glance and when she tried to talk to him or offer her condolences, he would grunt and push her away, swearing at her. Dimitri would then apologize for his father's ruthless behaviour and he made sure that Juniper kept her distance from Mr Remirez.

Juniper Stauff leaned against the doorway of the living room. Dimitri sat on the sofa, one leg on the coffee table as he watched reruns of Sherlock on the BBC channel. Juniper smiled once she saw him. Only if she could make him hers.

Juniper cleared her throat, the throbbing in her head slightly lessened. "Good morning, Dimmy," she greeted.

"Definitely not a good morning, is it?" Dimitri asked, eyebrows raised jokingly.

"Definitely not. Hey, listen, do you have anything to make this headache go away?"

"Oh yes!" he said. "Give me a sec." He disappeared into the kitchen and a minute later he returned with a glass of milk in one hand and two tablets in the other hand.
