(Ash snapped out of being spaced out in thought and panicked bc the boat was close to open sea leaving the dock and also the distance between him and Serena was growing by the second)

Ash—I have too??....

Chole and Goh—huh have to what?

Ash—i have too (Ash whispered in confusion) —- I have too—— I HAVE TOO!!!!!

Chole and Goh— ahh what what what's wrong with you

(Suddenly Ash jumped the boat railing to the ledge and jumped onto the dock where Serena was still standing only barley making it)

(Serena was confused)

Goh—Ash what are you doing your gonna get left behind!!!

Chloe—be careful jeez you could have fallen in the water and gotten hurt

Ash—it's alright you head out without me I need to do something I'll find a way back

Chloe—But Ash why are you staying??

Ash—I have my reasons but I'll see yall again real soon!!

(Ash waved goodbye to Chloe and Goh)

(Pikachu looked confused but didn't complain he got off Ashs shoulder and went to go play with Serena's Sylveon in the field near where they were standing)

Chloe—Will Ash be okay??Goh he isn't the brightest when it comes to making decisions he just jumped off the boat and that's not even the stupidest thing he's done remember that news clip we saw on TV when he jumped off Lumious tower to save Pikachu..

Goh—Yes he will he has Pikachu and true he isn't the brightest but he is very smart when it comes down to something important so he stayed behind for something important and his Pokemon are with him and he is a very strong trainer he will be fine

**BACK ON THE DOCK**

(Ash turned around to a very confused Serena)

Serena—Ash why did you do that? That was the last boat back to Kanto for the next 2 days??

Ash—I had too i don't know when I will see you again so I can't afford to miss this chance.

Serena—Chance??

Ash—Serena let's find a place to sit please

Serena—Umm okay

(They found a bench nearby and sat down looking at a beautiful sunset on the water and the ship that Goh and Chloe went on was slowly vanishing over the horizon)

(Serena was blushing because the sunset looked romantic and she was with her crush)

(Ash began to speak looking at the sunset)

Ash—Listen Serena a lot has changed in my life since I last saw you in the Kalos region I'm the Alola champion and I have made a lot of new friends and done a lot of things but I haven't seen you since we went are separate ways in Kalos.I have missed you a lot

Serena—I missed you too Ash (She blushed when she talked to Ash and the fact she said she missed him and that Ash missed her)

(Ash began to blush due to the fact he was about to tell her something important)

Ash—Serena?

Serena—Yeah Ash?
