Sorry for keeping y'all waiting a lot happened during these last couple of days and I was unable to release the next Chapter but I finally got it done it's a-bit short but I'm gonna release another chapter in a couple of hours to make up for lost time but no worries I will try to write regularly bc this is a lot of fun anyways enjoy....
Ash's POV
I was walking down the street to the airport thinking about Serena and are kiss and how it meant nothing to her I was about to cry again when I saw an announcement on the city billboard for coordinator competitions and I saw my old friend May on the billboard who I haven't seen in a long time I decided before I head to the airport to make a pit stop at Mays house to talk to her since she preformed with Serena in competitions here in Hoenn maybe she could tell me why Serena dumped me.
**30 minutes later**
*Walks to Mays house and knocks on the door*
Mays mom opens the door
(Mays mom) OH MY STARS?!?! Ash how are you sweet pea it's been forever!! (She hugged me tight like a wild Bewear I saw in Alola)
Ash— I....... Can't .......breath
I said straining with my gasps of oxygen
Mays mom—I'm sorry well don't be a stranger Come in come in
Ash—Thank you (I stepped into the house and everything almost looked the same)
Ummm is May here by any chance
Mays Mom—She sure is she is out back with her Blazikin practicing for Competitions
Ash—is it alright if I see her I need to talk to her
Mays mom—of course let me call her
(She stuck her head out the window)
Mays mom— MAY DEAR YOU HAVE A VISITOR!!!
(May came in and saw Ash and she ran and hugged him while Mays mom went back into the kitchen to fix them some snacks)
May—OMG OMG HI ASH!!!!!!!
Hi may (I whispered depressingly)
May—Hey what's wrong aren't you happy where's that energetic attitude you had when I last saw you
Ash—Can I talk to you in private
May—Sure is everything alright (she led Ash to her room and closed the door and we sat on her bed)
(Ash immediately broke down and began to cry)
May—What's wrong
Ash—I'm heart broken May because Serena left me and she says she doesn't wanna see me anymore even though we kissed and I thought we became official but we didn't apparently
May—So that's what happened
Ash—what do you mean??
May—Serena missed are practice session this morning and she never misses those so she must be feeling down too
Ash—Impossible I bet she's happy she told me the truth and dumped me
May—it is odd because all she ever talked about was you and now she's telling you to get lost that doesn't sound like her we should go talk to her
Ash—NO WAY!! (I said nervously)
May—Why?
Ash—She may have negative feelings towards me and I don't think I can handle seeing the girl who ripped my heart out and told me she wanted nothing to do me
May—Fine I guess just try to breath please I have never seen you like this before
Ash—Because I have never had my heart ripped out before by someone who I loved ever since I found out Romance was a thing
May— How about we go for a walk into town and just talk this out??
Ash—But I have to go to the airport or I'll miss my flight (Ash was trying to make an excuse not to go on the walk even though he hadn't even gotten a plane ticket yet)
May—cmon Ik your lying Ik you want to get out of this but too bad we are going for a walk
(May said bye to her Mom and dragged Ash out of the house to take a walk and clear his head)
Ash was dragged by May down the path to the city from Mays house
Ash gave up trying to fight it and walked with May wanting to clear his head
May—So you and Serena actually kissed like on the lips
Ash—Yeah I felt happy and just in love with her thinking we would be together forever but it didn't even last a day
(Ash started tearing up again)
May panicked and looked around trying to find something Ash liked
(May sees an ice cream shop)
May—Hey Ash look Ice cream you love Ice cream don't you
Ash—Yeah I do (Ash said looking down not wanting Ice cream but wanting Serena back)
May— Cmon let's get some ice cream it will make you feel better
(Entered the Ice cream Shop)
May rung the service bell
(Ding Ding)
Then a skinny man in a brown cargo pants and a blue button up shirt came and took are order
Ice cream dude—so that's one vanilla ice cream for the lady and one small chocolate for the gentleman
Ash nodded not wanting it but was forced to order something but May wasn't having any of this nonsense May knew Ash had a big appetite
May—Scratch his order please ,instead for him can I get a big banana split with extra sprinkles
Ice cream dude—Okay I will call it out when it's ready and the ice cream man got to work while May and Ash got a table
May—Hey real quick when we leave here can we stop at a Pokémon Center I wanna get my Blazkin checked out bc when we preform he has gotten this weird limp and I don't wanna work him to hard.
(Ash nodded and the ice cream man brought out the ice creams May ordered and Ash tasted his and liked it and began devouring the ice cream)
May smiled at the fact she was getting a smile from her old friend but she was lost in thought What caused Serena to leave Ash?? Would she leave Ash?? Who's this new guy she met she never mentioned him in any rehearsals?? May couldn't connect the dots so her suspicions grew more and more and she was questioning a lot of things.
That was kinda of a mini chapter in a way idk but I'm revising another chapter rn and it should be up in a couple of hours but thx again to yall for supporting me and reading
