It had became normal. Some person is dressed in a costume that resembles spider webs with some colour. He glides through the air with spider silk shooting from his wrists. If he wasn't a good guy then this would be concerning but he is. At least everyday he saves one person. Whether that's from walking someone across the street or all the way to supervillains.
Most people have only seen Spider-Man. Even if you were saved by him, it was a chance that he didn't say a word. Though everyone always said he said something. Either a little too cocky or some just say he's good with his words.
Sunghoon and his friends have only been lucky enough to see him zip through the streets. Never have they spoken to him. One of Sunghoons friends - Niki - is his biggest fan boy ever. They don't believe someone can like Spider-Man more than Niki does. He has every official poster of him, every official magazine that he's featured in, and most things in his room are Spider-Man themed.
"Cmon sunghoonnnnn, I just need the notes! I'm your best friend!" Jay whined as they were walking to school, since he missed social studies the other day and Sunghoon happens to be in that class.
"For the last time Jay. You're the worst at copying notes! You don't even try to put it in your words." Sunghoon had his eyes closed tightly. He wasn't in the mood to see Jay.
"Bu-" Before Jay said a word he knew he had to switch his sentence to yell for Sunghoon. But before he could even do that a wave of red flashed in front of him and grabbed Sunghoons waist, pulling him away from the street.
Sunghoons eyes widened for two reasons. He almost got hit by a car and Spider-Man just saved him.
"Watch your step pretty boy" Spider-Man held his waist gently. Even though he has a mask, Sunghoon could tell he had a big smile on his face under it.
Sunghoon didn't know what to say so he only nodded his head. As he finished nodding he was pulled into his chest.
"Meet me at the roof of this building at 4pm today" He nodded his head towards the building on his left. Sunghoons eyes were really wide now, what does Spider-Man need with him?
"Cya later princess" he let go and zipped off, ready to go save other people if needed.
Sunghoon stood their for a second. A little shocked while he tried to process everything. He and Jay looked around and it seemed people had recorded the interaction. Sunghoon knew by the time he gets to school it will be everywhere. He sighed, knowing people will never leave him alone about this for sure.
They continued their walk. A little silent in the beginning but they started to talk again once the awkwardness was gone.
When they reached the school every head turned straight at Sunghoon. "It's everywhere already, isn't it?" Sunghoon asked as Jay had the video already on his phone, "yep" he answered.
When they finally got to their class. Their friends had their jaws dropped as they stared at Sunghoon.
"How do you survive a interaction like that with Spider-Man? He was basically flirting with you!" Sunoo had his hands at his face in disbelief.
"You met Spider-Man before me!" Niki whined as Sunghoon ignored both boys and sat down next to Jungwon.
"Is he even around our age? You're still a minor you know" Jungwon said. The others thought about it too.
"Well he can't be too old for how active he is." Heeseung made a point. He was unlikely anywhere older than 27 for the average person.
"Whatever, can we just pay attention now?" Sunghoon shut down the conversation. Not cause he didn't like it but because he was starting to get flustered.
