"Explain it all, now."

"I don't know how to begin. Can you please ask me question instead?"

"What the hell does he mean?"

"Please don't be mad, yet. I have my own reason why I did this. It's not like I don't care about you guys, I just-"

"Enough with the bullshit, I ain't got time for that. Explain. It. NOW!"

"They offered me to extend the contract and I intend to say yes."

"What the fu-"

"I told you I had reason-"

"Fuck you, Chaeng! How could you do that to us?! You agreed to our plans and even told me you'd always be on my side!"

"Chu, please... Can you listen to me first?"

"No! You listen to me! I had enough of your crap, Chaeng. You're selfish motherfucker! What am I missing? I was there in your deepest, darkest time. I bleed my hand just to stitch your freaking wound! And this is how you say thanks? Then your fucking welcome!"

"Unnie..."

"Stop! Don't unnie me in time like this! Do you know how hurt I am when you have no intention to tell me about Suzy? Who am I to you, Chaeng? What happened to we're in this together? Am I a joke to you? A toy you can play with anytime you want?"

"No, please don't say that... I-I'm sorry..."

"You're not. You fucking betrayed me! I should've known better, I should've stopped myself sooner. When you returned to her, I should've stopped caring for you. You know what, I'm done. I'm fucking done. I ain't your safety net, no more."

Jennie's journey from Thailand to Korea was a whirlwind. She barely had time to catch her breath as she jetted off to see Rosé. When Jennie arrived at Rosé's doorstep, she was greeted with a sight she knew all too well - Rosé sprawled out on the couch with Hank perched on her stomach.

Jennie knew something was up when she entered the room. The smell of booze was everywhere and empty bottles were scattered on the table. She didn't want her friend Rosé to go down a dark path, so she quickly gathered the bottles and tossed them in the trash. Jennie then sat down next to Rosé, determined to be there for her no matter what.

Rosé woke up with a hoarse voice and found Jennie sitting beside her. "Oh, you're here..." she said, still feeling groggy. Jennie's face looked concerned as she asked, "I hate to see you like this, Chaeng. How are you feeling?"

Rosé gave a weak smile and replied, "I'm good at making people hate me. It's just my special talent." Jennie didn't find it funny and instead asked, "Jisoo hadn't texted you, had she?"

Rosé's smile faded as she replied bitterly, "Why would she text me, unnie? She hates my guts, that's for sure." Jennie tried to reason with her, "All this was a misunderstanding, Chaeng."

But Rosé wasn't convinced, "How do you know? You're not even there when she spat me those words. It was like she threw a dagger at me." Jennie knew Rosé was hurting and didn't want to make matters worse, so she remained quiet.

Rosé sighed deeply, "It's not like I don't want to understand her. You know how you guys meant to me, right? I will support everything you guys want to do and try my best to always be on your side."

Jennie hugged Rosé and said, "It's okay... I understand. Lisa, too." Rosé shook her head, "But Jisoo doesn't. Her words hurt me, Jen. It was cruel, and I hated it because for some points she was right." Tears were streaming down Rosé's face now.
