Human Error

It's been four days since Lisa left Korea and Jennie hasn't contacted her. However, she keeps tabs on Lisa through Jake and Alice who give updates on her activities in Paris. Jennie longs to hear Lisa's voice but is determined to complete her special project. She plans to surprise Lisa by attending her cabaret performance along with Rosé and Jisoo.

Jennie had been busy putting all of her energy and focus into preparing for the release of her upcoming music video. She spent countless hours in the studio, perfecting her dance moves and recording her vocals with precision and dedication.

Jennie wanted everything to be perfect, and she poured all of her attention into making sure that it was. She worked tirelessly, pushing herself to the limit to ensure that her music video would be a huge success.

Today Jennie and Jisoo had made plans to have lunch together, but Jennie's body was completely drained after being overworked. Just as she was about to cancel their rendezvous, Jisoo called her out of the blue.

"What's up, Chu?" Jennie answered the phone, her voice sounding tired and weak.

"What do you want to eat?" Jisoo asked, trying to sound cheerful.

"Weren't we planning to meet at-" Jennie's words were cut off.

"I know, but I think it's better if we eat at your place. I know you've been exhausted," Jisoo interrupted, her voice full of concern.

Jennie felt a warm sense of gratitude towards Jisoo. "You're the best, I love you," she said sleepily.

"Okay, since you didn't answer what you want to eat, I'll bring chicken skewers from my regular restaurant," Jisoo offered.

"Yeah, sure. Whatever," Jennie mumbled, too tired to care.

Jisoo realized that Jennie was about to doze off and hung up, leaving her friend to rest.

Jisoo arrived at Jennie's house an hour after she called her. As soon as she stepped inside, a furry little creature, Kuma, was doing its best to get her attention by running circles around her feet. After picking up the adorable pup, Jisoo called out for Jennie but got no response. Worried, she made her way to the bathroom and was left in shock when she found Jennie slumped right in front of the door.

The scene was chaotic as Jisoo frantically called out Jennie's name. "Jennie!" she screamed in panic as she let go of Kuma.

Something was definitely wrong with Jennie, and Jisoo's heart was pounding in her chest as she rushed towards her friend.

"Oh, Gosh!" Jisoo muttered under her breath as she tried to wake Jennie and reached into her pocket to get her phone. Jennie's body was burning up, and she was sweating profusely.

Jisoo's heart sank as Jennie's breathing became irregular, and she looked so pale. "Jennie...please, wake up!" Jisoo tried once again to wake Jennie while pressing the telephone number to call an ambulance.

"Lisa?" she murmured weakly, but her eyes remained shut. Jisoo was relieved that Jennie was somewhat conscious but also scared.

"No, it's me. Lisa's nightmare. Wait a second, I'm calling for help!" Jisoo said softly while stroking Jennie's head gently.

"No, please don't. Just help me to the bed..." she whispered, weakly trying to reach for Jisoo's phone.

"Are you crazy?" she protested. "You collapsed here, and you're burning up. We have to get you to the hospital!" Jisoo grabbed her phone and was about to call an ambulance.

But Jennie was adamant. "Not hospital. We don't want to attract attention, do we?" she said weakly, holding onto Jisoo's hand and taking her phone.

After several minutes of arguing, Jisoo finally gave in and helped Jennie to bed. Jisoo called Jennie's manager and asked for a doctor. At this point, Jennie couldn't dodge because her body was really weak.
