Adrian has somewhat of a nervous look on his face when hearing the news. "Hey, you'll be fine dude, after all we are the strongest," said Alex trying to motivate his friend. "No, you are the strongest I'm just here to support you, that's all I've ever done, I have no good combat skill, I can barely make a shadow weapon." Welt steps up, and gives Adrian a pat on the head, "don't worry young one, just think of this as good old fun it's not only about winning, but I'm sure you would put up a good fight. Anyways the student games start in 2 days, you the time now to train and think of new ways to use your trait."
"Hey Rhyan, don't you think you should work on your speed some more?" Asked Ross, "I mean from what we've seen with the other four we met, all of them seem to have some way to gain speed, well besides Ethan and Zack, they are just naturally fast due to their traits and demi-human abilities," said Ross.
Rhyan chuckles, "funny you would say that Ross, I've actually been working on a weapon for that exact purpose, I just need to figure out how it works exactly, last time I tried it blew up, but I think I've got it down," responded Rhyan.
"Actually, I've been reading a lot of books to get some inspiration, actually there's this cool fan fic I've been reading, where a team of four has special abilities and weapons and---" "Don't care" interrupted Ross. "I just want to make sure that you're at your best when we fight eventually, and of course I'd win" said Ross "Pfft in your dreams dude, you really think you can beat me with those little tentacles you got? And I know that's your demi-human abilities, why don't you ever show off your trait abilities?" asked Rhyan.
"Can I not have my secrets? I have my reasons for not using my trait abilities just yet, well technically I've used my trait ability a lot, you all just did not notice it. "you're a bitch" Chuckled Rhyan. "Shut up!" shouted Ross, who then smacked Rhyan in the face with a tentacle.
Moveing over to Alex and Adrian's Pov, to where Alex is trying to learn a new move. "Hey Adrian, how many times is that?" asked Alex. "Well including that one, we are now at attempt number 4236 and each time u slammed into that wall, actually I think your face is making an impression in that one spot," said Adrian.
"Keep talking and I won't hesitate to nuke this place," responded Alex. "Alright, all right relax, I was only trolling around, why are u even doing this anyways? Your kind of just impacting on the floor and launching yourself forward," said Adrian.
"You see Adrian you simply won't understand with that tiny bird brain of yours, you can't even process 4% of the knowledge I possess" said Alex, "Whatever man just tell me, "Said Adrian who was annoyed by Alex's comment.
"Back when I fought Master Welt, I did something cool, especially with my legs, something that I never really thought about doing, it was kind of just a spur in the moment kind of thing," said Alex. "Well hurry and spill it out," said Adrian. "SECRET TRAIT TECHNIQUE ATOMIC BURST!" "That sounds lame dude, do you need to add atomic to everything?" asked Adrian. "Shut up bird brain let me finish explaining!" Shouted Alex, "the name isn't lame it's cool in its own right, basically what I'm doing is causing an impact at my feet to give me a burst of speed, I thought about this after my fight with Welt, in the fight I slammed my feet into the floor causing my leg to repel faster into his head, so now I'm basically doing the same thing just more controlled and minimizes self-hard to myself if I over us it, boot can't take as much pressure as my sword, but at the same time I can't really turn well or get the right about of impact for each leg hence the reason I crash," explained Alex. "Then why don't you just use the impact on one leg at a time, so that when you need to turn you can use the other leg to cause an impact there that will ultimately change your direction, I guess it will also help with controlling your speed, kind of like running," said Adrian. Alex looks across at him in surprise and is simply shocked by the fact that he did not think about that. "Well, you make a good point there Adrian, see this is why you're my duo partner," Alex chuckles. Moving over to Zack's and Ethan's Pov.
"Yo chat do you think I could make this jump, that plane is really far away," said Zack. "Hey Zack, could you get off the game and help me plan a bit for the upcoming battles?" asked Ethan. "The Fuck I died? Who the hell is Alfart69420? Chat is this the same stream sniper from before? Man, I am sick of his ass this dude annoying!" "Dude get off GPT6 and help me out here, this will also benefit you!" Shouted Ethan. "Ugh it's fine I'll just go over it myself, now let's see, even if I get someone who is in the air it should not be an issue, speed is not an issue either I should be able to outpace anyone with no trouble, now this can be an issue for me. I'm not exactly the hardest hitter, so dudes that can hit hard and take even harder hits are usually the ones I avoid and of course just my luck my first opponent's stats favor in his strength output" pondered Ethan. "Hey Ethan, can you tell me about my opponent?" asked Zack. 'Oh, so now he wants to know about his opponents' Ethan thought to himself.
Narrator: only 1 day left until the student games usually this would be the part where everyone is all nervous but for these boys, they could not be more confident in their abilities, well all besides Adrian.
Adrian is still shaken by the fact that all the games are going to be 1v1 battles.
"Hey Adrian, you're aware that you're up first, right?" said Alex, "don't remind me" nervously said Adrian.
Fast forwarding to the day f the student games.
Commentator: GOOOOOOOOD MORNING STUDENTS!!!! I hope you all slept well. Let's get the rules out of the way first.
Rule number 1: winners will be decided when your opponent is unable to continue or when their trait energy hit's below 10%
Rule number 2: these battles are strictly one on one, if there is any outside interference you will immediately be disqualified
Rule number 3: and our final rule killing is not allowed, any attempt of doing so will be handled by head master Welt himself.
Side note: rules can be added and changed as battles go on. I'm also not allowed to get deep into everyone's abilities.
NOW LET THE BATTLES BEGIN!!
Our first battle is between 2 demi-humans, and let's just say birds of a feather flock together. On one side we have Adrian the Crow demi-human, and he has a Shadow trait. On the other side we have Iris, she's a Hary demi-Human, and she possesses an Air Trait.
"That's my boy, you got this in 3 Adrian!" shouted Alex from the stands.
Adrian raises his hand in sign of approval, "don't worry Alex I'll win this and face you in the finals.
