The kingdom of Sorythia is extremely militaristic, and this can be found directly in its 'academy.' Despite the name, the academy honesty gets you pretty close to being a full-time operator. When being signed up for the academy you are allowed a 4 year tenure. This is the only way to become a full-time operator.
To even join the academy you have to go through testing that, if you fail, you can either give up or you will be trained to standard with a minimum sign-up age of 15. After your first year, you can choose your branch as well as partake in missions, a decent option for some money. There are three branches a student can take up, those being the strength, specialist, and stealth force. Even though there is overlap, the strength squad is more of a heavy-hitting almost demolition branch. The specialist branch is that will mostly specialize in abusing the hell out of their traits. Finally, there is the stealth branch, which specializes in spying, assassination, and espionage. Of course, you can find more demo relight people in the specialist branch trait abusing people in the stealth squad, but they will try to sign up for branch-related scenarios and should do their job nicely.
Now that leads you to what the purpose of the academy even is. For all intents and purposes, once you finish the first basic training and pick a branch, you're basically an operator and can do as you please. The first purpose of the academy is the fact that once you have entered, you get free housing in terms of dorms until you graduate, this is more so a grace period as being an academy student more or less is just a fancy way of saying "I get free housing." The second reason for its existence is so students can gain connections, whether they like to or not.
Apart from the instructor of the first year, Teachers is more so a rank that high accomplishing operators can achieve by deciding to be pulled out of normal operations and in exchange for a stable salary, take time in teaching the next generation. These teachers can do personal training with students that they show interest in, and upon both parties' agreements, can get started. Typically the teacher will teach either training related to a shared branch. A teacher can also decide to do a more general training of skills to improve agility and combat skills. Particularly skilled teachers will try to mix the both together. This "Mixing of the two styles" is the exact reason Alex found himself getting flung backward by a earth-shattering fucking kick and slamming back first into a particularly thick tree trunk, which did not seem to budge, thanks for asking.

Alex tried to recover from his spot firmly planted in mud as his homie Adrian pulled up next to him to offer cover. "Damn he's fast, you got an eye on him?" asked Alex, who was only now finally getting back on his feet after the brutal display of force.
Adrian shook his head in response which drew a sigh from Alex. Putting on their game faces, Alex used the standard stealth branch sign language to tell his plan to Adrian. 'Fan out your senses, keep us hidden and mobile while trying to reveal his position.'
Spy watched from the trees as Adrian nodded before the two disappeared with a burst of shadows, not a trace left. 'Interesting, I wonder if they actually think they can find me,' thought Spy before he too disappeared into the shadows, this time with a show of pure stealth and awareness. Anybody who wandered into the forest would be met with an ominously quiet stroll as the stealth specialists prowled unassumingly around the shadows.
Suddenly the silence of the forest was shattered and thrown to the wind as Alex appeared behind Spy who was standing wide-eyed before smirking at the grinning Alex. That grin was soon wiped off as Spy deflected the sword blow before kneeing Alex in the gut and jumping back from the branch and into the foliage of the surrounding forest. 'Damn! He was expecting us!' an alarmed Alex screamed in his own mind before he realized that the branch he was on was set to explode using Spy's blood.
