Both fighters take to the air, Adrian wasting to time, sends out a shadow imbued feathers, Iris counters with her own wind attack. Adrian follows up by flying directly towards Iris. 'I'm not the best when it comes to close quarter fights I prefer to keep my opponent at a distance, however it seems like the same can be said for her, 'Adrian thought to him self. Adrian prepares a punch but to his surprise iris had vanished. "Where'd she go?" Adrian said, "above you," Adrian looks up to receive a punch directly to his face sending him to the ground, iris now flying down directly towards him, Adrian opens a portal moving him out of harms way. 'That could've been bad' Adrian thought to himself. "You'd plan to end this by over whelming me with long ranged attacks, hoping that I was also a long range fighter didn't you?" Said Iris, Adrian looked puzzled and now a bit nervous, but composes himself and thinks about his next move. "I'll do you a favor and shatter all of your expectations and hopes within the next few minutes, said Iris. "TRAIT ASCENSION 1 OPEN" Alex is looking from the stands, surprised by this, but still keeps faith in his friend. Iris' hands now have air coated claws around them and he wings are even glowing a little. "Now this fight is only just getting started" said Iris. 'I need to keep this fight at a distance at all cost something tells me that those claws aren't simply for show and if I'm hit, it's basically over for me.' Adrian creates a portal in front of him, in the split second sending Iris in a different direction, Adrian spreads his wings and sends out a barrage of shadow feathers, but his barrage is stopped, "huh?" Adrian let's out a blood curdling scream, his right wing was completely sliced off. "Oi oi stop with the crying, during your little barrage, I simply sent out a wind sickle slicing right though your attack and wings. To be honest did you really enter this without unlocking at least 1 of your traits?" said Iris. Master Welt looks down from his stand completely unfazed by what just happened, Alex yells at him, "HEY AREN'T YOU SUPPOSE TO STOP THINGS LIKE THIS, WHAT GIVES?, HEY LOOK AT ME!" shouted Alex.Iris walks up to Adrian who was still rolling on the ground and stabbed left wing, rendering it unusual."MASTER WELT STOP THIS YOU CAN'T B--", "would you like me to end this fight and your friend loses without trying?No need to panic young one demi-human's can regenerate their wings and their other demi-human parts in 10 minutes, so the wound that he has won't kill him, though it will hurt, nor is it my job to end battles.Iris has a devilish smile on her face, "come on boy is that all the fire left in you you can even fly for the next 10 minutes it's useless, just throw in the towel this battle is as good as done," said Iris.

Shouted Alex who's voice can be heard by the entire stadium.

"I'm finished?" Adrian said, everyone is shocked, but Alex has a big smile on his face.Commentator: Adrian has gotten up.

Blood drips out of Adrian's mouth, "well here is where my hope lies," Adrian points at this chest."Trait ascension 1, "MIDNIGHT SHADOWS" open" both of Adrian's wings grew back faster than usual and were now covered in a dark shadow Adrian had a duel feathered blades in his hands.Adrian looks up at Iris, blood dripping from his hands. "I'll finish this battle in the next 10 seconds maybe less," said Adrian. "Don't get cocky you pretentious bastard!" yelled Iris. Iris let's out and powerful wind slash, but was cut in two the swing of Adrian's blade. "What, how can this be? no way he got that much energy from just his trait ascension 1."
"You looks pale, Iris that can't be all you can do? Come on we need to put on a show," Said Adrian with a big smile on his face. Adrian slowly walks up to her. "Hey stay away from me!" Iris yells, sending a barrage of wind slashes.Adrian opens a portal dodging the attack and exits right in front of Iris, "this win is already in my hands," said Adrian, slashing her across the chest not deep enough to kill just enough to cause pain, he then slices off her wings. "How does it feel to be looked down upon, FRAUD?"
Commentator: Iris can you move?
The referee steps in and checks on her.
"Still alive but is unable to proceed." said the ref
Commentator: This match has been decided, Today's winner is, Adrian!
The crowd cheers loudly.
"Adrian, I only expect great things from you in the future!" Shouted Alex from the stands. Adrian looks at him and points his feather blade at him, as his shadow wings slowly dissolves off his still broken wings now revealing his true state. "Ahh so he coated his wings in shadows to temporary heal his wing condition, fascinating, i wonder if that can trait awakening can be stronger if his wings were fully restored?" ask Welt. "I'll be seeing you in the finals, ALEX!" shouted Adrian. Adrian then passes out from exhaustion on the battle stadium.
