Flashback three days before the raid

Waves of light emanated in waves, crackling from a campfire in the dead of night. Illuminated around the campfire where four figures could be seen standing. The one who was presumably their leader was standing looking over them before saying, "Alex, Adrian, report."

Adrian sat still while Alex stood up and faced his teammates. "We were able to get some information on the inner workings of the command system. To start off there are operatives, they are the lowest of the low. To follow them up the operatives will be placed with a captain to lead them forming units. There seems to be about 15 operatives per unit and give or take 5 units. Leading these units is the head captain and then finally there are the three commanders. We were able to keep tabs on their training and have found that they are all relatively weak, closer to bandits with swords than an actual fighting force. That is of course until you get to the commanders. These commanders would easily need at least one of us to fight them. They would probably at least cause us a good amount of trouble too."

The rest of the team seemed to be silent, taking in the information. After a pregnant pause, Alex continued. "First off are the twins, these two will almost always fight together, so it's best to try to fight them with an ally. One of them is a demi-human with bird-like traits and seems to be somebody who favors speed. He brandishes the standard teleportation ability of the Hozuki family. Next is the human twin, not much is known as to where his strengths lie but it is known that he has a variation of the flame ability of the Hozuki clan. His version is a long-range projectile that is fired from his fingertips and can do good damage if not careful. Finally is king; king has the strongest reputation of the three and most are known about him. For starters, he carries the teleportation trait but what differs is the fact that he is a cyborg, more machine than human. His skin is as tough as they come so if you can't get through you should run. He is very big and bulky so speed is probably the best way to deal with him, but that teleportation might cause trouble."

As Alex finished his debriefing Adrian decided to make himself known. "One more thing should be noted. Only very few of the operatives have actually unlocked their traits, though you should expect anybody captain level and forward to have it. Although most should not be an issue for us."

After a pause Rhyan decided to break the silence, "We don't have to really get into too much planning now. Let's head to bed and sleep on this info." Ross nodded in response, "alright then, oh by the way good work Adrian, Alex." He got two nods in response as the group started to make their way back towards. Suddenly at the corner of Adrian's eye, he noticed Alex making hand signs towards him from under his clock. "I need to talk to you in private, move us out of here." Adrian nodded in response and portaled them deeper into the woods once nobody was around. Alex suddenly turned around to look at this right-hand man.

"How much mana do you have right now? '' asked Alex. "About 3 quarters, why?" replied Adrian. "You know those shadow clones you've been using to survey the city?" he asked, getting a nod in response before continuing. "I want you to make one with a good amount and leave it dormant in my cloak. By the looks of it I'll be alone and in case I get preoccupied, I would want to be able to have your clone continue in my place." Adrian nodded before doing what was asked of him. "This close should have about half of my mana, but keep in mind it will die if it takes too much damage." Alex smirked in response, "Don't worry, I'm sure this will work out."

Flash back no justsu... END

Explosions could be heard throughout the lobby outside the mines as walls were destroyed and people were screaming. Alex was seen flying back at fast speeds before doing a flip mid-air and landing sideways on a wall before rocketing back at King. King raised his arm in defense but felt Alex's blade along with impact hit him, making him stumble. King regained his footing before sending a cybernetically enhanced punch straight at Alex who just barely blocked it but was sent flying back. King teleported to where Alex was about to be but he planned for this, as Alex slashed at the ground mid-air while using impact to make him go a little bit higher, landing on King's face before jumping off right before King got a hold of him.
