This story is a Bakugo x Reader requested by IHateSocialization

The reader was requested to have SM, otherwise known as Selective mutism. A condition that most people classify as a severe phobia which prevents speech as well as small noises such as sneezing, coughing etc. I feel very honoured that someone has trusted me to attempt to write a condition like this in a oneshot! <3

Also I chose this song as its a super cute romantic song, but also its entirely sung by the guy (as long as i have the right version😂😂) representing how Bakugo is the only one who talks verbally in this relationship. Hope that makes sense :D.

Sun shone like gold being embellished onto the canvas that was the sky, painting the glass H-shaped building of U.A. a brilliant bronze, reflecting the angelic cityscape bathed in brilliant golden light. In the midst of all of you stood by your friend Mina Ashido, and your older brother Kai, a second year at U.A.

"Are you going to be ok, Y/N?" Mina asked, looking at you with concerned eyes.

Oh yeah! I'm just going to meet my boyfriend's parents!? What could go wrong?

You said nothing, and continued to look at the road in front of you. You weren't trying to be rude. You didn't want to be rude. You wanted to talk, wanted to tell Mina how you were feeling; but, you just, couldn't.

Mina glanced at Kai, receiving a understanding smile from the older boy, "I think they'll be fine, Mina. They're a brave person!" Kai responded.

You heart buzzed at your brothers compliments, and your lips curved up just ever so slightly.

At least Kai thinks I'm brave. Aizawa thinks I'm a wuss. Its not my fault spiders are so creepy!

Mina rolled her eyes and clicked her tongue, "I know Kai. I know." SHe pulled you into a suddern hug, wrapping her arms protectively around you, "I just want to make sure that they're going to be okay." She pouted, sticking out her bottom lip, "You know how mean Bakugo can be."

You rolled your eyes internally. He wasn't that mean. Not to you at least. Well, not since you had beat him in combat during one of the first exams during the first year. Actually, he really was only truly nice to you. Your cheeks burned slightly at the realisation.

"Indeed." Kai replied, emphasising the word as he looked at you, his eye brow quirking up in irritating, "Let me tell you, Mina. I'm certainly not the happiest with their choice of partner."

Mina released you from her grip and extended her hand to Kai, her cheeks slightly pinker than usual
