Ever heard of needing to rent out a house? Yep? Its not too bad as long as you have the money? Yeah. That's not the particular part I'm worried about. How about renting a room that belongs to someone you know? Not too bad either. They offer you a discount, or bring up food for you to eat on occasion. Not disastrous. BUT. How about renting the rooftop room of your grumpy a** boyfriend's house and not only have to deal with him 24/7, but also deal with him and his parents arguing with each other. ALL. DAY. LONG. It was ridiculous. You could try and take a nap, and suddenly loud shouts of various profanities screamed by both your boyfriend, and his mother would reveberate through the floor. You'd roll your eyes and clamber out of bed, grumbling, and stamp hard on the floor.

"KATSUKI WILL YOU SHUT THE. HELL. UP!"

And then he would respond with similarly loud profanities, until his mother finally shut him up.

"SORRY Y/N!" Mitsuki yelled through the floor back up at you, "DINNER IS AT 6!"

You rolled your eyes, your lips turning up just a little. See what I mean? Free food! Its great!

"THANKS!" You yelled back, before grinning, "KATSUKI!"

"WHAT IS IT, BRAT!?" He yelled back.

"KATSUKI! SHE'S TRYING TO SLEEP!" Mitsuki cried in outrage.

"I'M BREAKING UP WITH YOU!" You yelled back, before walking over to your desk, laughing. Sitting down and pulling your headphones over your head, you ignored the trail of yells that were very clearly your boyfriend downstairs.

You scoffed and rolled your eyes, before opening Spotify on your tablet and clicking on one of your favourite playlists.

Your room, well, it was more of small apartment, minus the kitchen. The roof was tilted inwards on both sides, like a loft. Its wooden beams still exposed, while the rest of the ceiling in a calm, off-white paint. A double bed lay in the centre, a sky light landing a square across the covers, while some kitchen counters lined the opposite wall, a TV sitting on top of one of them, the remote laying just below them. The carpet below you was soft and fuzzy, the door just next to your desk is the door to your en suite bathroom.

A couple of moments later, you heard the stomping of a familiar man walking up the stairs. You smiled, before folding your arms and turning around in your chair. There, resting an arm against the banister, was Katsuki Bakugo. He was taller than he was back in high school. His blonde hair now cut into an undercut, and a medium sized scar from hero battles across his lip. He was dressed in a baggy vest and slacked jeans. His signature scowl on his face.

"Hey terd." You smirked, saluting him, and resting your feet on your desk.

Katsuki growled, "Don't call me that!"

"Well," You scowled in response, his tone irking you a little too much, "Don't yell at me like that!?"

Bakugo stalked into your room agressively, he sat down on your bed, pouting, "I get to do what I want!"

"Not I'm my room you don't." You snapped back, throwing a pencil at his head, "I suggest reconsidering your attitude."

Bakugo didn't respond, he just glared at you venomously, his scarlet eyes sparking with annoyance.

"You don't look disastrous in that outfit by the way." You sighed, turning back around to your desk and the last sheet of hero paperwork you needed to complete.

"Hah!?" Bakugo shouted, "What do you mea-!"

You threw another pencil at his head, "You're giving me a headache jerkwad."

Katsuki rolled his eyes and threw the pencil back at you, before flopping back onto your bed and stares back up at the dark night through the skylight. You huffed and walked over to him, and sat down on the bed next to him. He looked over to to you, a peaceful expression on his face. You dropped a group of pillows on his head, and then flopped across his waist, staring at the floor. Bakugo shouted angrily before sitting up, and shoving you off the bed and onto the floor.

"Oi!" You shouted back, before slamming your foot into Bakugo's shin. He leapt up in pain, giving you the chance to kick him off the bed yourself.

"Y/N?" Mitsuki's voice called from downstairs, "Is everything alright?"

"Yep!" You replied, slamming your elbow into Katsuki's gut as you stood up, "I'm all good!"

"Alright! Just checking!" Mitsuki replied.

You flopped back onto your bed, grabbing a book and started to read. Katsuki muttered something on his breath before attempting to sit on the bed next to you.

"Hey." He prodded your face, "Listen to me, brat. Oi."

You continued to ignore him and focus on the book you were reading.

"You're book is upside-down."

You let out a frustrated sigh, before dropping your book directly into Katsuki's face, "You shoved me off the bed."

"And?" Katsuki replied, tossing the book on the floor, "You shove me off the couch every day."

You rolled over and looked at him, before flicking his forehead. You gave him a mischievous close-eyed smile. Little did you see the peaceful smile that was gracing your boyfriend's lips. He reached up and gently brushed some hair out of your face, before cupping your cheek gently. Your eyes snapped open at the touch, only to face the admiring eyes and small smile of your boyfriend, bathed in the moonlight.

"I'm glad that you're the crazy ghost that lives in our attic." He teased with a low chuckle.

You scoffed and chuckled, giving your boyfriend a playful shove in the shoulder, "Well then. You're the crazy ogre living in my basement."

"HAH?!" Bakugo cried, sitting up on his elbows, an irk mark on his head,

"Why am I an ogre?"

"Cause you walk like one!" You replied, an irk mark reforming back on your head.

"Then you're a troll living upstairs!" He shouted back at you, hitting you in the face with a pillow.

"HEH!?" You shouted back, before grabbing as many pillows as you could, arming yourself to fight back.

Katsuki's eyes widened, before he dived off the bed, a rush of pillows following him. You grinned, knowing that you were going to spend the next half hour chasing him around the house, until Mitsuki caught him and declared you the winner.

So you see. Renting a room at your boyfriend's house isn't so bad, as long as you can find a way to keep yourself from tossing him out the third story window. Its not as bad as you might think. As for you, it wasn't so bad being Bakugo's roommate, after all.
