Another robot arm flew in front of your eyes, chips of metal and sparking wires bouncing off your sparkling blue galaxy way barrier. You ran towards the wall of a nearby building, using the momentum to lift yourself up onto the wall and flip over, grabbing a shard of metal with your telekenisis and stabbing it deep into the central programming of the 5 pointer bot.

'SHE BLOCKED A ROBOT WITH SPARKLES.'

'Holy. I-. Wow.'

You grinned as you heard a familiar thought stream enter your mind. It was going great. You currently had twenty points and were going strong. Until...

Your boot hit the concrete ground, and your mind went silent. You gasped. Your mind was silent. No thought streams flooding into your mind, rushing like a river through your mind, a cold chill reminding you of each and every new person's thought entering through the flood gates. Usually the noise would overwhelm you, much like a overflowing river, its tangential noise blocking out anything else. However, right then, it was silent. Dead silent. Ocean calm silent.

What in the blue moon just happened.

You looked around, only to spot a yellow spark shooting through a nearby three pointer bot. A spark... Of lightning.

Of all the places he could be.

You leaped over towards him, dodging the flying metal and rubble.

"Hey! Zippy!" You yelled, running towards the yellow haired boy, "Get outta here! Your quirk is messing with mine!"

He looked over to you, his eyes wide and sparkling, until he closed them in a big grin.

"Hey Kiyoshi!" He smiled, giving you a wave, before shrieking like a dolphin on steroids as another eight pointer robot charged past the two of you. Some other student throwing a shard of black rock into its side.

"ZIPPY!" You grabbed Denki's collar and yanked him back, slamming him down onto the ground as another shard slammed into the ground, right between his legs.

He slowly looked up to you, his eyes teary and lips shivering.

"Kiyoshi." He mumbled, "I'm gonna die."

You rolled your eyes, and smacked him round the head, ducking as another piece of steel flew over your head.

"Get yourself together!" You cried, grabbing the frozen Denki's sleeve and pulling him into a nearby alleyway for covey.

You grab him by the shoulder and stare into his eyes, "I can't deal with this right now. I'm trying to get into U.A, and your quirk is stopping me from doing so."

Denki's mouth flopped, his cheeks growing slowly pink as he stared into your eyes. Your angry, unimpressed, yet GORGEOUS eyes.

"Will you marry me?" He whispered out loud, smiling goofily.You groaned loudly, and smacked him round the head again.

"I swear, Kaminari,-."

"Denki." He interrupted, rubbing the back of his head nervously.You huffed, "Denki. If you don't listen to me I will throw you back out there to be trampled alive by giant killer robots!"

You slammed your fist into the wall beside you. You winced. Ow. That hurt. Being dramatic is painful.

Denki shuffled up to his feet, rubbing his shoulder.He looked over at you, and your supposedly angry face. Right now, he couldn't tell. You looked both angry, and in pain.He honestly wasn't sure if he should leave, or ask if you needed a bandage.

"I-uh. Are you alright?" He asked, reaching a hand out towards you.

You grinned, before letting out a deranged laugh.

"I'm fine! Totally fine!" You giggled, attempting to fill the silence in your head, only to receive faint echoes in response.

Your fist stung as brick dust mixed into the cuts on your knuckles. Your head pounded with the sudden lack of thought streams flooding in. Your brain felt dry, barren. Your limbs felt week as your mind's strength dispersed from your body. It was like losing a limb.

"I just can't hear your thoughts. It's fine!" You continued, running a hand through your hair.

"My thoughts?" Denki questioned, resting his hand on his chin, and squeezing his eyebrows together like an angry cat, "Oh wait!" He cried, 

"You're the telepath Aizawa-sensei warned me about!"

"You knew!?" You shouted, before sighing and slapping your face in a facepalm, "Of course, you knew. Of course Aizawa would tell you."

"What do you-."

The building exploded. Concrete flying around you and Kaminari as a giant shard of black rock slammed into the floor below you. Kaminari looked up, spotting the ever increasing cracks across the wall of the building on the other side of the alley way. He grabbed you and leaped under the shard, just as the wall collapsed on top of the two of you. You paused, looking up. Denki was crouched over you, shielding your body with his. His golden hair falling in front of his face; a stoic expression on his face; eyes steely.

You slowly felt heat crawl up your cheeks and ears.

Oh...

OH.

"Hey," Kaminari spoke, looking at you, "Are you okay, Kiyoshi? You didn't get hurt did you?"

His face was so close to yours. Noses almost touching. You opened your mouth to reply.

"I-Uh. Um. I uh." You rambled, trying to look anywhere other than Denki's sparking, golden eyes, "I'm great." You chuckled nervously, "Is it safe outside?"

"Wait under here, I can go check." He began to crawl out from underneath the shard.

"Don't! Wait!" You whispered, grabbing his jacket and pulling him back, 

"I'm not letting yourself get killed!"

"Well we can't both stay under here!" Denki replied, before quirking an eyebrow, and smirking, "Unless you want to?" He whispered.

"I hate you so much." You replied, your ears burning , shoving his face away from you with your hand, "Let's get out of here."

"I thought you didn't want to leave." He teased, running a hand through his hair, trying to push it out of his eyes.

"Uh. Yeah. Not anymore." You planted your knee in his stomach as you sat up, before shoving him off you and out from under the shard, "I can't hear any falling rubble anymore. It should be okay."

"Alright then, beautiful." Denki winked as he made a cheesy pose on the floor, winking at you, "Let s see if we can survive this exam."
