TVA - Loki's POV
I leaned back in my chair as my eyes started to glaze. O.B was talking about quantum physics, and something called string theory.
I'd been at this for roughly ten years so far. Learning everything I could about mechanics, physics, and engineering. I truly could not take one more moment of it. I needed a break. I needed to clear my head. Focus on something, anything else before I continued.
Yes it was important that I learnt all of this so I could help O.B and Timely build the through put multiplier, and yes the fate of the multiverse rested on our success, but my brain just could not take any more right at that moment.
"O.B" I said running my hands through my hair, standing, and interrupting him.
"Yes Loki?" O.B looked at me surprised, blinking behind his black rimmed glasses.
"I'll be right back" I nodded and then time slipped.
I knew exactly where I was going, more importantly I knew exactly who I was going to.
Tonsburg - Loki's POV
I blipped into reality just outside of a little village in Tonsburg, Norway, Midgard. The cool salt air hit my face with a welcome sigh. Our father had brought us here when he revealed we have... had, an older sister, Hela, and that by me stripping him of his powers and leaving him on Midgard I had inadvertently released her from her prison.
That had caused a few problems I'll admit, but how was I supposed to know that the old man was all that was holding her back. I didn't even know she existed until he told us on his death bed, so I hardly think I am to blame.
Anyway, I cleared up that mess, with a little help from Thor, and I saved Asgard. Plus Thor and I had managed to reconcile most of our differences by the time Thanos came to... Well, we all know what Thanos did.
Big purple bully..
But one thing I remembered very clearly was telling my brother the sun would shine on us again, and well today was going to be that very day. I recalled that Thor had said, when he decided we were headed back to Midgard, that he was going to start something called New Asgard in this little fishing village in Norway. So that was where I headed to find my brother.
I beamed to myself as I strolled through the village square, children were running around screaming and yelling while they played games and Asgardians were happily going about their lives. I strolled towards what I guessed to be the feasting hall, or at least that's what we called it on Asgard. I was sure that was where I would find my brother, probably enjoying what he liked to call 'revels' after some victory or other that he'd had recently.
