** Trigger warning - Smut **
Tonsburg - Freyja's POV
Leaning back from the laptop, I slowly rolled my head, listening to the soft pops in my neck and winced.
A soft knock on my bedroom door drew my attention."Yeah?" I called out with a frown and watched the door slowly creep open.
"Are you finished for the day, darling?" The velvety voice enquired.
My face flushed once more as I stuttered.
"Um, yeah, more or less." I smiled, shaking my head slightly, my hair gently swishing over my shoulders.
"Just have to write up notes and send an email." My lips twitched into a nervous smirk."Excellent," Loki beamed,
"Just in time for our date." He grinned wickedly at me, the twinkle in his ice blue eyes flashing briefly.
"I'll wait for you downstairs." Loki smirked once more and retreated from the door, pulling it closed as he went.I exhaled loudly and sagged in my chair.
What have I let myself in for...Quickly typing up my notes from Bucky's session and emailing him a copy, I closed down the laptop for the day and wandered over to my wardrobe.
What the hell do I wear for a date with Loki?...Settling on my burnt orange woollen jumper dress and thick tights with my tan knee-high boots, I decided it didn't matter what I wore because I didn't care what Loki thought of me.
Which was a blatant lie, but I wasn't ready to admit that just yet.
But also because I knew Loki would just magic it into something else if he so chose to, so what was the point in worrying.
Seriously, what have I let myself in for?...My reflection stared at me in the mirror with its hands on its hips frowning back at me.
Sighing a breath of surrender, I let my arms flop to my sides and headed towards my bedroom door, grabbing my jacket as I left the room and headed downstairs.Loki sat in the living room with one of my psychology books in his hands.
"Narcissistic Behaviour and Tendencies"
I dipped my head and grinned.
Seems appropriate...He wasn't in his usual left hand of the devil attire of suit and tie. He was wearing a pair of well-worn black jeans, a white t shirt, and a deep green cardigan.
Had he made an effort to be normal..."Ahh..." He grinned, lifting his head from the book, dropping it onto the coffee table, and standing up,
"You look beautiful as always," Loki smarmed and, with a small flick of his hands, presented me with a bouquet of beautiful yellow and green flowers.
I looked at them in surprise, then flicked my gaze back up to his eyes, not sure quite what to do with his gesture."Is this not customary with Midgardian dates?" Loki asked, his dark brows knitting together.
"To present your date with flowers?"
Asoft giggle escaped my lips before I could stop it.
"Yes, it's customary." My giggle spilt over again.
"It's just old fashioned. And surprisingly coming from you." I smiled and took the flowers, smelling them with a small grin."Let me just put them in some water."
"No need," Loki grinned, waving his hand, and the flowers disappeared from my hand and reappeared on the coffee table in a vase, immaculately arranged.
"Shall we go?" He held his arm out for me to take.
Flower arranging? Seriously?...
