Tonsburg - Freyja's POV

The following morning I woke to a pounding head and everything aching, even though I was in the blissful state of not remembering the previous day's events, just yet I could still feel its effects.

I moved to sit up or rather I tried to move to sit up when I noticed a strange, unfamiliar weight lay across my side.
Shit...

The slow beat of my heart started to race, and panic began to rise rapidly.
Looking around me and quickly realising I wasn't in my usual room, my heart rate soared higher.
As I took in my surroundings, turning slightly to look behind me, I noticed a long arm, covered in white linen, was draped across me.

The thought 'Oh shit' ran through my mind like a freight train, the arm across me, and body close behind me belonged to Loki.
I closed my eyes and winced.
Double shit...

The events of yesterday came flooding back like a tidal wave, seeming to make all the aches and pains hurt all the more.
Then, a new feeling overwhelmed me.
Embarrassment.
What the hell had I been thinking yesterday?...

My fingers gingerly wrapped around his wrist and gently I moved Loki's arm from across my side, allowing me to slip out of the bed, hissing at my sleep shorts pulling the stitches in my thigh as I stood up.

"Going somewhere darling," the velvety tones of Loki's voice purred from the bed.
I closed my eyes once more and winced again.
Please, ground, just swallow me now...

"Loki, I'm sorry... I don't know what got into me yesterday... My behaviour..." I started to ramble an apology as I turned, beet red, to face him.

"Nothing, mores the pity." Loki raised his dark eyebrows and grinned devilishly with a sigh.
Then he shook his head, his sable hair falling around his broad shoulders, as he sat up fully.
"There is no need for apologies or embarrassment, my dear." He grinned charmingly.

I smiled nervously as I stood staring at him, very aware that all I had on was a pair of sleep shorts and a vest top, fiddling with the ends of my hair.

"Umm.." was all I could think of to say, my mind going blank.

Loki's lips twitched in amusement once more, and he looked down at the bed sheets.
"Look," He began as he raised his icy blue eyes to mine once more.
"Yesterday was... unconventional, to say the least. Why don't you let me make it up to you and we can start again, properly?" He gestured as he spoke, but I could see a slight plea to his eyes and tone.

"H... How do you mean?" I frowned at him curiously, narrowing my eyes slightly.

"Well, it is clear there is some form of attraction between us, so why not let me take you on..." Loki paused, frowning, trying to remember something,
"What do Midgardians call it..." He muttered to himself, dropping his gaze for a moment,
"Ah yes, let me take you on a date," He beamed almost arrogantly, as his head snapped up again.

"A date?" My jaw dropped, and my head tilted forward in shear surprise.
"With you?" I said in disbelief.
Say what now?...

"Is that such a terrible thing?" Loki's face fell, with a hint of hurt in his voice.

"No, no. Not terrible, " I rushed, not wanting to seem rude,
"Just surprising," I finished quietly; my thoughts raced.
Is it a terrible idea?...
No, I can't do this...
It's LOKI for Christ's sake...
