Hattie and y/n stormed into my room, 

well...y/n waddled. 

"She's about to burst." Hattie giggled. 

Y/n rubbed her lower back squinting her eyes as she laid down on my bed. She looked like she was in pain. 

It scared me...

"You do look fat." I said laughing

"gee thanks." Y/n grunted. 

"Are you worried about going into labor?" Hattie asked. 

My heart began racing.. nobody knows I'm pregnant. Cabot said he didn't want to get married after the war. 

"I'm not worried about myself, I'm worried that Robert won't be home in time."

"Isn't he going to come home the week the baby is due?" Hattie asked, using my brush to comb her dark knotty hair. 

"He said he will try but he said no promises can be made, the troops need him."

"But so do you." Said Hattie.

Y/n sighed. 

Nobody knows I'm pregnant. I'm already two months in. I thought I was just getting bloated but now I can't wear corsets, i've been borrowing my mothers which are a size bigger. 

there was a knock at the door a few hours after y/n and Hattie had left. I opened the door to see cabot... great... 

I guess I can't hide it much longer. 

The second I opened the door he pulled me in. I tried to suck in my stomach but it was getting obvious that I was pregnant. I went for an awkward side hug. 

"you're home!" I said happily. 

"finally." He said. closing the door behind him, kicking off his shoes and unbuttoning his jacket. 

I was standing there, terribly uncomfortable when he started undoing my corset, groping my tits and kissing my neck. 

fear filled my head, the second he sees my stomach he'll know I'm pregnant. 

"God i've missed you." He said, undressing himself and laying down on the couch in his boxers. 

"Cabot can we not right now??"

"Susan I haven't seen you in weeks."

"I'm tired." 

He pulled me in by the waist ontop of him, reaching his hands up taking my dress off. As he went to unhook my bra, he noticed my stomach. 

Inflated...

Susan...is that a baby bump?

He took his hand off my bra. 

"ive wanted to tell you.."

"Does anyone know?"

"no."
