After The Dinner Party

I was still in a bit of shock..
I mean...
She's an actual witch?

I just found it..hard to believe. But there in-front of me was her book and all around me were shelves and shelves of spices.
"Okay well let's look over the recipe." Kevin said.
"It looks like It's just pasta with some lemon sage sauce." Said Susan.
"I have no idea how to cook." Said Kevin.
"I can do it, I had to cook every night because my mother, well, you know."

We quickly went to the closest house, which was Susan's, I had written a copy of the recipe down and left it on Susan's counter. Our plan was to cook the same recipe however, we were going to leave out the magic so we could replace the "Like Me Linguine." With regular linguine. 

They all student around me while we walked back to Susan's house, where I was staying so we could cook a non magical version of Andrea's pasta so nobody at the party knows. 

They all surrounded me in the kitchen, updating me on time while I boiled the pasta and made the sauce.

I took out a sauce pan and mixed in Butter, Lemon, Sage, and basil. Then mixed the pasta in, and put it in a small glass container.

We ran back to the party.

"This better work." Said Susan, as we entered the kitchen through the back door.

"Coast is clear." Said Kevin. 

I krept in and dumped the magical pasta into the extra container, and poured the non magical pasta into the pot. We ran out of the kitchen with the containers. 

"Kevin- did you grab the book?" Asked Hattie.

"Yeah I have it. We'll report her tomorrow."

I smiled, maybe things will finally go back to normal now. 

Everyone sat down to eat around 11 pm. Andrea placed the pot on the table and sat next to Robert, smiling at everyone. Susan sat next to Cabot. And Kevin sat between me and Hattie. The 30 other guests sat at different seats on the long table. 

Andrea looked down at her plate. 

"That's strange..." Andrea said to Robert.

Susan ease dropped on the conversation because she was closest. 

"Robert did you add something to the pasta while I wasn't looking?" Asked Andrea.

"No darling, why?" Said Robert.

"I didn't add basil in this."

Susan looked at me with her eyes widened. 

"Go!" She mouthed at me and Kevin. 

We ran out of the building before she could see us leave. 

We're screwed.
